The 2022 Lexus NX Is a Competent Small Luxury Crossover

Visibility is nuisance

I’ve been driving this 2022 NX as a loaner while my ES 350 is at the dealership. It’s an amazing car. I love it!

This is a good SUV.

I drove an original NX for a couple of months, and I enjoyed it. It was great for what it's designed to be and I'd get one.

Interesting how the plug in hybrid is the same price as the RAV4 PRIME. Coincidence?

Yeah. Spent 72k on this car in red, my car has 11k miles on it, it's been in the shop for 4 days because there's a misfire on cylinder 3. Not to mention my car often doesn't let me turn it on, the steering wheel locks up, I've gotten trapped in my car unable to unlock it with my keys or app. My self start often doesn't work, my lights are about an inch too low and shine the ground rather than in front of me(takes 3 hours to fix it according to mechanic), oh and did I mention my Bluetooth constantly drops music and I can only use Amazon or Apple music in my car...... I'm sorry but my 2019 equinox works better than my 22 lexus nx. I put 60k miles on my equinox and not ONE THING had to be replaced on it expect for tires. Meanwhile my lexus has been in the shop TWICE since I got it in last week of june 2022. It's now first week of February 2023 and my car is in the shop, yet again. Sure some luxury vehicle 🙃

So I bought this car in impulse. First time in my life I ever did so. This means of course more buyer’s remorse than usual. I will say what I do not like: the engine is a bit loud (like others Lexus puts fake engine noise into the compartment, which is idiotic), the car is surprisingly slow off the line (given the torque) and importantly, the F Sport trim has been out for a year and there is still NO tow hitch available. Bait and switch

How is this clown still around? Horrible!

Overall, a fantastic update. I don't like large touch screens (or any touch screens) and I'm one of the few people that really like the first generation infotainment system... I daily drive a 2021 NX 300 and I have zero issues with it

Just got one and this review is very on point.
But he missed talking to a lot of other quirks. I guess it's hard to find it all by just looking over a car in a few hours.
