Ya know- I am actually excited to watch videos of people like “Splatoon 1 is 2023?!?”
And ooo look it’s like 20 days away!

I miss sp1oon. It feels like there was more verticality, more chaotic and innovative map design that played with the swimming mechanics, and there was less momentum in movement so it felt faster to zip around the map on squid form.

God I miss this game so much it makes me wanna get a Wii-U again...

for me nothing comes even remotely close to a well-timed kraken squadwipe these days. I miss the old special design, it really made you feel like an unstoppable force or an immovable object. Invincibility, immediate area control, complete lane shutdown, those specials fucking ROCKED in the most punk way possible.

Well no one uses wii u anymore that is probably why, Nintendo should do something but they won't.

I need saltspray rig back as a level in splat 3 so bad (and blue fin depot).... they were my favorites and I miss them 😭

hacking to change ink colours: fine, it's an aesthetic change that doesn't affect gameplay
changing ink colours in a way that could give someone a seizure: bad

There were only two hacks I've witnessed. The hack that allowed Inklings to have white ink, and some hack that let there be only be 4 people in one Turf War.

Is it just me or why I have never hackers in my splatoon 1 lobby btw im still playing that game

Oh so the first hacker decided to make it night and murder everyone’s eyes but they couldn’t be bothered to at least use splatfest music? Ok bud, obviously they aren’t dedicated to what they’re doing

I miss the Kraken special. Whether it's useful or not at high level, I just wish 3 had it. They could make it faster or cover more area etc

splatoon 1 reallly hit different the first time playing it then playing splatoon 2 or 3 the first time
