Sony a6600 | Is it THE BEST APS-C Mirrorless Camera?

What program was that you were using to edit video? I assume it edits video and does color grading for photo.

SONY allows the 3rd party lenses which have very reasonable prices

So, that's great that the camera was still rolling for 90 minutes. Was the footage in focus the whole time with no one manning the camera?

If so, that means Sony has essentially made a legitimate camcorder replacement with an APS-C sensor. That is exactly the kind of situation where I would normally think a camcorder is the best tool...just put it at the back of the room and roll through an event.

Now, it still needs some things. It needs better media management. It needs dual UHS-II SD card slots....ideally with the option to use CFExpress Type A. I would be uncomfortable using this camera in that scenario because it only has one SD card slot. The fact that Gene was sort of praying for everything to be OK does not sound like a good feeling, even though it was OK. If I were filming a wedding, I would want certainty, and that means I would want a live backup. A fan would be a great addition as well.

Here's hoping Sony makes a new line of APS-C cameras with better media management. We already got a hint of this with the FX30, but I would want an a7000 series camera or however they want to name it.

Which one would be better for a hybrid user, the Fujifilm XS10 or the Sony a6600?

How bright do you normally have those keylights in the background? I struggle sometimes to light and expose correctly

Is the transfer speed from your a6600 to phone slow? My friends a7III transferred 1080p60 videos much faster, and I'm not sure if it's my cam or just a model issue

Do you recommend buying this in 2022 ? I was thinking of A6600 + Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 for street photography & wedding.

Hello, I have the a6600 and tried to record a 13 hours video and got overheated after 1 hour and 37 minutes... How did you manage to do it? I heard in your video you placed a powerpack on top of it but I don't think that is the solution, is it?

Not sure if you answered this before but what is a great vlogging lense as well as a lense for slow mo b-rolls?

I am trying to optimally grab my gear within $1000 along with a single kit lens, maybe a hundred dollars give or take, in that regard, my options as available in my region are XT30, M6 MKII, Z50 & A6400. It would mean a world to me if you could help me decide my first ever gear. My focus is purely image quality, I am not weighing on video capabilites much, I prefer my smartphone and action cam for that.

You've convinced me to go with the a6600, but as a total noob and also nature lover, I'm hoping to get both nature and street video and photography, a sort of all rounder lens, but the ones recommended all seem really big?? I would love a pancake/compact lens so I feel ok carrying it around 12-16 hours a day during travel/camping. Do you have any recommendations? Thanks so much and love your videos!!

hello! I got this camera with a FE 50mm F1.8 lens and when I try to make a video, I can clearly hear a clicking sound, as if the camera was constantly trying to focus. I tried it with manual focus and still in each video there is this annoying clicking sound. I was wondering if you have any advice? I have reset the camera but it's still there, thank you
