Acabo de escuchar a Barry Ryan, definitivamente no habrá quien intérprete está canción como Ryan, en esta versión con orquesta y la muy buena interpretación de Helmut también me gusta pero en la versión original me gusta mucho mas😊

Oh no, not a pseudo classically trained singer adding unnecessary sophistication to a pop song written for the youthful purity of a 20 year old male voice. As soon as he got to the chorus and let rip with his vibrating falsetto, I realised that he couldn't match the charm or tonal value of a youthful Barry Ryan, even if he can belt out the tenor parts against an orchestra. He doesn't even try to imitate Barry's falsetto embellishments towards the end, which Barry sings like his voice had not yet broken. Wise man😀!

I also miss the breathiness in Barry's delivery, also the edginess and even his pure diction, but most of all the sexual charge from Barry's performance, which is definitely wanting here!!

Scandinavia aside, I don't know what it is about Continental Europe, they so often turn pop music cheesy.............

One word. Wow!
