Learn how to quickly and easily enable and disable the feature in Google Chrome that adds a new scrolling option that lets you use a text cursor to scroll through text with using your keyboard arrows.
This setting is called caret browsing a feature in Web browsers that allows the user to move around a Web page and highlight selections with the keyboard rather than a mouse. Users unaccustomed to a laptop touchpad often find caret browsing easier to use for selecting text.

The term “Caret Browsing” (also called “Caret Navigation”) simply describes an alternative way of navigating and reading web pages on your browser. It involves using the direction or arrow keys (also called Cursor keys) on your keyboard to select texts and move through web pages.

1. Open your Chrome browser then click the three vertical dots at the top right-hand corner of the interface.
2. On the Settings page scroll down to the very bottom of the page and click Accessibility
3. Flip the toggle next to this option to On and you’ll gain the ability to use the F7 keyboard key to enable or disable cursor scrolling navigate pages with a text cursor in Google Chrome on the go.
