The Traveler is a glossy nightmare. Why would you make your most portable device the one that requires white gloves to keep nice?

I would like to buy a 10.3 e-ink screen for note taking ( I work with people and I want to have their files on a tablet and quit paper.
I do have an old kobo Aura one which I loved for books reading ( it is a 300ppi screen )

I have spotted 3 tablets :
The boox note air 3 ( only 227 ppi and I am afraid I might see the difference so I take it off from my list )
The boox note air 3C : I am afraid of a lower battery experience because of the light needs
the Supernote A5X2 : not ready yet but soon

I also have a difficulty to select the "writing experince" I will prefer... I love writing with a very good (medium to large ) ballpoint pen on classic paper. I also loved the experience of writing on an Econotes book : I think I would like a fluid writing feeling with a pencil that glides along smoothly.
Nb: I hate writing on the Ipad : it is a lot too rigid and I feel a lot too much the glass screen

So I hesitate between the note air 3C and the A5X2 (which is not ready yet) , may be you can give me your advice ?

Has an iPad ever been considered? (I’m a kindle & iPad user and a recent scribe purchaser).

Such an interesting video with real-world usage and so much experience going into this, as you do not only review such things for some days and then test the next thing. This makes it really valuable for people who do use their devices and plan on using them for years to come. You also make it really easy to understand why some things work for you and others don't and how that would translate to my own usage.

Fun video. It made all the tools interesting to know about - I'd never heard of the last two Alphastrikes? I've heard for writing that it is really helpful to not have a screen at all and just free-write blind. Then later come back and form/fix the writing. I've only seen one app that was good for that sort of method.

I just got a scribe. Really like it. But also have a supernote and do wish for some of those tools on Kindle device.

Nice video. I’m a Remarkable 2 user so I appreciate your perspective on RM2. I also agree as I have a Supernote A5X and although I agree with the robust writing tools of the Supernote, I have continue to use my RM2. I use the type folio as my case but I don’t really use it and to overcome the add a page function, I actually created my own Notebook in adobe and I don’t really use their notebook options.
