CheatSheet sounds really useful except it requires allowing keyboard input monitoring. Is this safe to do it? Why does it require this? It seems potentially dangerous for an app to read all my keyboard inputs.

Rectangle is the better app for sure

it is so messy because Apple still havent developed windows manager tool. I have ALWAYS such messy environment since I moved from Windows...The strategy what Apple uses still now with "Spaces" is absolutely outdated for new large monitors...

I use Unclutter for clipboard history but also to store text and also files sometimes. And for organizing the windows, I use Mosaic.

For the clipboard part, you can also save an area to your clipboard by holding ctrl while printing.
cmd + shift + 4, select an area, then press ctrl and release your mouse

Bruh, "Screenshot" built in Mac OS app + Preview does 90% of what you described for screen shots/screen capture. I usually just Spotlight "sc". At least deserves an honourable mention :)

Ok Jeff, I got one for ya, and you can earn OG status if you can solve it. Ok, here goes: now maybe I have just been out of the loop all these years but I don't know how many times I have said what the heck is this 1990s method still plaguing me- how to resize columns without having to go down to the bottom and carefully select the column slider and slide it wider to read long file names or option click and select from the menu----sooooo many times a day and its just ridiculous that not a better way exist. At the least move the slide to the top of the column so we don't have to always go down to the bottom of the screen and then its so close to the dock, you have to fidle sometimes to get it selected....Uggh, got a solution that is more efficient? If we made an app for this we could probably retire :)......hoping you got the sauce

Always tempted to use my macbook sometimes just becasue macos have so much better features. but the sheer amounts of fonts and files and everything I have accumulated on my pc would make it so much harder to transfer to mac😭

and I'm not sure if switching constantly between a mac for work then pc for gaming would just be more hassle
