Why instead allocate memory of malloc(4*sizeof(int) ) at the very beginning isn’t it the Same-thing ?

Excellent. You might take a moment to say that in old code, you might see someone using realloc() with a size of 0 to free some memory, and that you should simply never do this, it is either deprecated or undefined behavior everywhere now.
