I bought the FC-4 from y'all last year and I absolutely love it. All my rifles have their own hard case with everything they need within, except a bipod because I only need 1. I use this one bipod for every rifle I own, it's that good. My lightest rig is 19 pounds and this bipod could care less. Good stuff.
ОтветитьGary, your video has helped me greatly in deciding on the brands/types of bipods I need for the different kinds to use for the precision or tactical use.
ОтветитьI've never use'd any of MDT's bi-pods, but I own of the one's I have used, Harris, Accutac, Atlas, Etc. The Accutac is by far the best. They're just heavy.
ОтветитьHi Gary,
Question.
I would like to Support your shop and channel, would like to purchase the Accu-Tac Bipod from you, as they dont sell them locally by me.
Do you Ship to South Africa by any chance?
Thanks also for videos like this. It really helps make the best purchasing decisions.
Thanks also for details and effort put into videos like this....really awesome and does help.
Cheers
you missed the best one... Backlandz just came out with an arca bipod that blows those out of the water
ОтветитьAnother fantastic video. This channel is awesome. I'm curious, when you were serving as a sniper, what kind of accuracy could you pull out of government issued equipment verses all the latest and greatest custom stuff you can purchase now as a civilian. I'm assuming you were using the old faithful M24? If I remember right the M24's were required to keep .35 MOA over 10k rounds (machine rest of course) That to me still looks pretty dang good.
ОтветитьWhat are your thoughts on bipods that mount over the bore (assuming the hand guard allows for it)?
ОтветитьFound your channel recently. I’m really liking the in depth content, keep it up!
ОтветитьWhat about the Atlas Cal Gen 2? would like to see it compared to the others here.
ОтветитьIf you load your rifle when shooting off a bipod, how does that work when the legs are angles back? Do you not “load” the rifle when shooting off bipod?
ОтветитьThanks Gary awesome video. Bought the Accu-Tac WB-5 for target shooting. Class is Sporting Hunter we shoot F-Class targets but with bipods, No spikes or skies allowed and base spread of less than 14” 36cm. And a 1 Kg squeeze bag. The WB-5 Because it does not have pan long legs to shoot out to 1000 yds. I’ve watched your Accu-Tac video’s many times to choose the right one.
Thanks buddy Andy Amor from Australia 🇦🇺
Have you found a intuitive way to mount an arca rail on a traditional stock rifle. Like a fiberglass McMillan A5 or similar?
Ответитьmuzzle flip/rise is a positional challenge. with a good body position it doesn't happen. rifles recoil straight back. if it flips up its because your body position made it do it.
ОтветитьI still can’t see spending that much on a Bipod over a tried and true Harris that the most Deadly ACCURATE Snipers in the World have been providing for 5 Decades works extremely well including Mr.Kyle who is keeping it safe upstairs, nestled under his Lapua was a Harris Bipod. I do think you can build a better Mousetrap but it’s not needed more than being wanted by People. I also have a Plastic Wobbly Ass Magpul Lol I got half price and it’s good for Hunting up to 300 yards I would say. Stay safe my Friend Semper Fidelis
ОтветитьGreat video Gary, thank you.
What options does one have to upgrade from sling swivel mount to something more durable and stable (I did go over the video twice but have not seen it, I know too many issues to cover in a limited time frame).
Thanks
Fab defense makes the absolute best!
ОтветитьI know what I am fixing to ask you has nothing to do with what you are talking about today but I would like to know for a AR-10 build what is a really good barrel for a .308 for great accuracy ??
Ответить😂yeah we don’t like floppy guns gary thanks for all this input man loves your thorough reviews 💪🏻
ОтветитьI may have missed it, but what about converting my swivel stud attachment to something more stable?
ОтветитьWhere was BT Atlas and Elite Iron bipods?
ОтветитьI am curious on them mdt oryx bipods. Wonder if they are more stable than magpuls
Ответить>me still using the magazine and shooting prone unsupported
ОтветитьAdditionally the arca rail can double as a paddle, a club, and my personal favorite a boat anchor. I just give my atlas a blue pill right before I go out and rigidity is a non issue.
ОтветитьAnother great video. What scale are you using? I’m looking for a new one.
ОтветитьHarris Bipods are good to go under 200 for a duty AR, not precision though.
ОтветитьYou said "I probably left something out". Well, you said earlier that you would give advice on how to improve a swivel mount bipod. And that advice is.....
ОтветитьLove the keymod on your RPR....Just ribbing ya. Great video.
ОтветитьGary thanks for the updated video on the bipods. I wish that TBAC, Accutac, and MDT would change their design to be able to change the head with two screws like the Atlas allows.
ОтветитьThanks for the video
ОтветитьI already know the best bipod. The Accu-Tac I bought from PTS. I have owed Harris, Magpul and a few other brands and the Accu-Tac with an Arca mount is by far the most durable and stable. Thanks as always for a great product and review
ОтветитьX-Rings video on 6max in competition had his MDT CKYE fail on him, where the splay feature broke while on the clock causing him to lose lots of time.
ОтветитьI love my MDT GRND POD.
ОтветитьThe ever changing world of guns and gun accessories! Great review, Gary! You are going to need a bigger table soon!
ОтветитьCan you convert an Accutac from picatinny to ARCA?
ОтветитьLove my Accu-Tac PC-4 from PTS. I upgraded from the Magpul and what a difference. Always appreciate your insight Gary.
