How To Exit Full Screen On MacBook & Mac

Bro I need help so when ever I enter full screen on macbook my tabs disappear and I says " use keys fn and f to exit full screen mode' But once I use them it goes from full screen to half screen on desktop and then I enter full click the green button and its in full full screen not just full screen
