Didn't realise you could find out the cask make up on their website. First thing I did for my bottle after watching your review! Great stuff. Must admit I really enjoy this whisky and good value. Definitely one I'll have on my shelf at all times.
Ответитьloved this one
ОтветитьGreat review. This is seriously so underwhelming, even with the high abv. It is also so overpriced for what it is. Very disappointing.
ОтветитьWent out a bought this based on your tasting. Looking forward to trying it. Cheers!!
ОтветитьGiven your evident fondness for both the distillery and the Laddie I’m amazed, as you say, it’s taken you so long.
Stonking value mind 👍
Not thought of coins or glasses by way of merchandising ?
Great review. Thank for going to the website batch chart straight away as I think this kind of full disclosure is what makes Bruichladdich an integrity malt (stealing a Ralfy term there). When a Distillery puts this much quality plus 50% abv, ncf, nc in it's "base model bottle" it deserves to be recognized. Love this stuff and glad they are still selling it for a reasonable price still. Have done several side by sides with there 2010 100% Islay barley and I preferd this every time. As far as merchandise goes I like the coins, altho can imagine they would be more work for you personally than having a made to order drop ship shirt or hat on a vendor site. Cheers
ОтветитьNice logo. Thanks for the review. I have a question about Cadenheads: is the authentic collection in general the better quality releases in comparence to the small batch releases? Whats your opinion about that? I aquired the Macduff 12 by the way and really look forward to crack that one open. Cheers...
ОтветитьI can only applaud bruichladdich for their transparency policy, they are right up there with compass box when it comes to true customer care, carefully avoiding all the tired old marketing flannel. I do consider myself a fan of a lot of their whiskies, but for whatever reason, the classic laddie never was one of them. I just never really connected with this one, while I absolutely love the organic and bere barley and most of the port Charlotte range. I like it, by no means I think it’s a bad whisky, and as the ‘entry level’ of the range, it outclasses a lot of other brands’ ideas of what ‘entry level’ is, but it pales a bit in comparison with their other expressions to me. Cheers Andy, and bring on the shirts!
ОтветитьGreat review it's the only Bruichladdich I've tried and I liked it.
The new logo works mate happy to wear that on a polo or something are you thinking of coins?
Goed review. If every distillery would be as transparent a number of the big brands would be in trouble
