I have DMARC set up for my domain. When I try to add my desired email address (alias) as a "send mail as" email in my Gmail account, it won't deliver. Probably because of the DMARC record—I don't wanna get rid of it. Is there a DKIM record that I can add to my DNS records so this problem can be solved?

did they change this? followed the exact steps and now it sends a confirmation email to the alias email I'm trying to create which doesn't exist. this process worked a few months ago

Hmmm. Do the email alias recipients need to be Gmail users, or can they be from Hotmail, or any other email account?

I can't recieve the verification email in my gmail account. It redirects to the domain which I cannot open cause I need to purchase a google workspace subscription

Additionally, I have a Google Site with that domain name so is the 2-step verification somehow affects the functionality of that site?
