I've never understood why people return bought items to the store.
When I'm about to buy anything I first ask myself: "Do I really need this?". If the answer is yes then I do the research to make sure that the item in question fits in all regards and that the quality is high so that the longevity of the item is as high as can be, given that some maintinence is done. Doing this, I've never returned anything in my entire life.
Then there those who seem to buy things on a whim. Like a fish attracted to a shiny lure passing by, striking at the lure first chance they get. They order the same shirt in a dozen different colors because ???????????? only to return them all because ??????

It bums me out how spoiled and wasteful we are as a society.

Its cool that it gives alot of ppl jobs and is saving ppl money but im a practical man so im wondering why when ppl return things they arent being checked to make sure its unused and resealed and put on the shelf to be sold b4 putting it in a return bin just for it to go thru 20 more hands. If it needs referbishing ok. I had no clue that returns get treated like garbage at the retail level thats wild to me.

One season my girlfriend bought a cashmere sweater from Bloomingdales for over $600. There was something minor wrong with it, but she decided that for such money she wants a perfection, so she returned it. And one thing to another, end of season... at the end she managed to receive from Bloomingdales same exact sweater in perfect condition for $120. Which makes me think that if First hand retailer charges 500% mark-up on an item, there is plenty of room for all kinds of Second or Third party "liquidators".

Everyone needs more than their salary to be financial stable. The best thing to do with your money is to invest it rightly, because money left for saving always end up used with no returns.
