The Javelin is good but stupid design since it's a 1 shot and discard weapon. RPG-29 is easily the winner here since it has HE/FRAG rounds and thermobaric as well so it isn't just an AT weapon. The US Army ranks the RPG-29 threat to armor so high that they refused to allow the newly formed Iraqi army to buy it, fearing that it would fall into insurgent hands.

no line of sight weapons system is superior to the javelin

An advantage that the Javelin has is the thermal + magnification of the CLU.
We use it as a scouting observation device all the time without the missile.
Its a great tool for scouting ahead for our heavy armored vehicles.
A fire team with a CLU is more difficult to spot than a vehicle

Good thing the Spike and EuroSpike outmatch the 80's tech Javelin by a far margin. :)
