I actually learned something new from it (this coming from a person who consumes history doc’s and books like Doritos 😅)….my feeling is that Turkey squandered its chance at being an ethical and politically tolerant ally, dare I say, a heroic ally (the country and political apparatus could have been a lifeline to so many, many, many, more people) during the era of ww2 and prior. They were (and often still can be), what I call a “Come Monday” ally at best. That said, Turkish Airlines is still by far my favorite airline lol (best in flight food, for economy class and first class seating, by a mile!! Take care!
