Typically we we look at the sell thru rate, high demand, we price higher, lower demand, we price lower. We promote between 1-3%. Thanks for the idea of higher price high promotion.

ОтветитьLets go Steve 😎
ОтветитьI do progressive markdowns. I tend to price on the higher end and then lower my price over time. Reevaluate if anything sits longer than expected.
Good breakdown on pricing high/promoting high. Makes good sense to me. I usually stick to 1% but I can see the strategy though with good sell thru rates.
Just listed a PSVR for $295 because that what the recent comps looked like. Sold in 4 hours I think buyer caught me slipping.
ОтветитьMy pricing strategy is to price to the middle/ top of comps but run consistent sales and promote different categories at different rates.
ОтветитьI do this almost exactly. Great tip 👍
ОтветитьMore solid tips homie
ОтветитьDon't they take the fees from the total purchase price or would they take the promotion fee off first before taking fees out?
ОтветитьHi. I price on the upper end, use low promo and then when eyes are on the item I send a 10-15% discount.
ОтветитьBeen watching other similar channels and just stumbled across you. GOOD STUFF!
Ответитьi like the higher promoted listing, i feel most buyers dont go further beyond the 1st page of search, and on the website not much further than above the fold on 1st page
ОтветитьDon't know how I stopmed onto this. All in all GREAT content 🥇. I also watched those similar from mStarTutorials and kinda wonder how you guys create these stuff. MStar Tutorials also had cool information about similiar money making things on his channel.
ОтветитьI really appreciate the videos and your analysis! Keep up the great work! Meaning drop us a new video soon lol :)
ОтветитьDo I pay the full ebay promotion fee if I accept a lower price?
Ответитьgreaaat tactic!
ОтветитьI ended my ad promotion a few days before it sold and they still charged me 3% 😂
Ответитьinteresting
ОтветитьSolid strategy!
ОтветитьWhile people are pissing their pants over the mandatory 2% promoted listing increase, because that's what ebay sellers do best, complain, I am listing my items at 10%promoted listing, and hopefully my item will sell quicker than theirs.😁✌️

Hi. I have a few questions on promoted listings… Does eBay take that percentage off the final sale, tax and shipping?
Also, if your item doesn’t sell, do you still get charged that percentage?
Thanks for the video.
I might have agreed with this theory before I watched Flippin Aint Easy's video where he promoted 3 of his items at 100% and not only did none of the items sell, but 1 of the items promoted at 100% wasn't even on the 1st page!! How ridiculous is that!?! He was willing to give 100% of his sales to eBay & actually pay money out of pocket for them to sell because of the fees associated with anything you list & his jeans weren't even in the top 200 shown!!
ОтветитьI see
ОтветитьThey always want me to do 10% , what if I do 1%?
That means it doesn’t get promoted as much but if it does get purchased from promoted listing, they don’t take as much out
I have a question, incase someone does buy your sponsored product, does that sponsor fee deduct from the money gained from the sponsored product?
Ответить3x prices 50% off sales and sending offers
ОтветитьI always promote my listings. Recently the suggested percentage has gone up across the board form an average of 9% to 12% !! I lowered the % and my sales plummeted! I just moved them back to 9%. Also, there is a new policy that states that even if you lower it, anything, even a new purchase will incur the old % if its higher, for 30 days! FEES, FEES and more FEES! They have made it though that if you don't use promoted listings with their suggested %, you can barely sell a thing! On another note, ive noticed if I get a couple of sales and ship them within a hour or less, all of a sudden, I will get many more sales right away!
ОтветитьThats why ebay messed up by doing the promoted listings nonsense because people will be rigging it like this.
I guess il have to as well
Thanks buddy
ОтветитьDo you have a set pricing strategy?
