Nissan just sucks
ОтветитьJust cut that flex pipe them you can get a replacement
ОтветитьNissan is trash man, they started cutting costs and making very low quality parts
ОтветитьSo you might get 300000 km to 400000 km out of your Np300. However when something finally goes bang on this engine. It’s going to be a c#*nt of a job to get out and fix. 😂that’s what he is trying to say here boys
Ответитьhi team can you guys do ablube delete on a 71 plate navara thanks
ОтветитьI am planning on swapping this engine into nissan frontier. Please inform me if this swap buid is worth it of consideration.
ОтветитьBoss I need a help I have Nissan Navara same engine we overhaul the engine know we couldn't understand of rear turbo vacuum pipes direction
ОтветитьIt's a RENAULT ENGINE designed buy Renault for originally... and tht says it all...
I rest my case...Renault =💩
Bought my 2018 few years back new, tows and goes offroad like a champ VERY HAPPY WITH MINE
ОтветитьEngine of renault master 3 2 3dci
ОтветитьI have a heavily modified np300 power mods, suspension you name it utes making 240hp 560nm and has been for the last 90xxx now on 100xxx and still been extremely reliable
ОтветитьMine blew up ffs 75k should be under warranty but Nissan are claiming I've used contaminated fuel
ОтветитьSerous question, how does the timing chain have anything to do with tow capacity?
Doesn't it just spin the cam shaff?
Calm down dear…….
ОтветитьSame issue with the 2022 navara?
ОтветитьHey, I live in Jamaica and have one of these Navaras with the 2.3 twin turbo and as you said it cut the radiator hose and overheated and needs a full rebuild. Could you tell me where can I can find the parts?
ОтветитьMate, I follow you, but WHY are you dissing the D23 so much? Is it really that bad???
ОтветитьNo wonder why dealers have many around 40tkm driven Navaras at really discount prices. I will never look them again, thanks from the tip :D
ОтветитьPieces of shit
ОтветитьI have watched this video many times along with most of your others. I am keen to buy a Navara (17-18 plate) so I have called you twice for advice and spoke to the same lady twice who told me there is no problem with the NP300 except for a coolant hose recall. You are clearly dissing this engine here, I just don’t get it.
ОтветитьI'm looking for cylinder head for Nissan np 300,2.5 engine, y25 diesel,to Botswana
ОтветитьYikes
ОтветитьI’ve just done a google search on your company and it comes up with your company is no longer trading?? Is this correct?
ОтветитьWhat do you recons better then d40 or the np300 or the Ford ranger current model?
ОтветитьThis is a Renault motor it is nothing like a d22 or d40 Nissan motor.....your a fuckwit
ОтветитьMaybe you should do other vehicles' you would see other similar year dual cabs ect, such as hilux has single chain too.. never taken a starter motor out of a 79 series!@#?? I could go on.. why target only navara in your videos, I work on all vehicles and can tell you they all have similar and more and other matters. ford ranger has a 2litre engine with more power than d23 and runs 30lb boost standard. Cant wait until you pull apart one of these...oh forgot you only shit talk nissans.
ОтветитьThat worst chin for what
If that cut it will be die
Hey mate, love your videos. I work for Nisan for a short period and I remember doing one of these pumps at the back of the motor. Call think the easier way to do it would be to leave the motor on the chassis and lift the cab up off of the chassis we were able to do this in just over an hour and a half.
Rissen actually recommended removing the cab from the chassis as it’s a bit easier than taking the motor out separately. If you’ve got a hoist in the room I reckon this will save you heaps and labour if you can get it down pat. I’m also looking at buying one of your chain upgrade kits for a D 40 Thailand bill, have you got a link I can go to? Love the videos thanks for sharing
yikes... what is this guy even talking about? He just assuming it's all going to fail with no reason for why it would. Your logic is so freaking flawed. You could literally apply this logic to ANY engine and say it's bad. so dumb.
Ответитьinteresting comment on timing chain - but isn't this engine used on countless Renault vans for 100's of k miles?
ОтветитьI realise I’m late to the party as far as commenting.
I have a 2014 D40 dual cab with the 2.5lt turbo engine.
I’ve done almost 170,000 in 6yrs and never missed a beat, still on original clutch pack, original brake pads front & rear, never had an issue!
I'm 17 years old.....the load of the vehicle "maximum weight and lowest, least weight" make no difference on the overall load of the timing chain.
ОтветитьI buy new np300 auto V series early 2017..till now milage 325+++km..every month runnning 13-14k km with 250-300kg capacity load..so far engine still good speed good just caring oil engine water tank auto oil and mostly imprtant water battery..
ОтветитьIn My country the NP300 comes with a 2.5 diesel, I don't think is the same engine
ОтветитьRenault engine
ОтветитьNo Nissan model is good now, pox engineering just like the jatco transmissions.....
ОтветитьHaha, probably it is done on purpose. Timing chain will blow in few thousand kms and here the customer hook them again.
Ответитьthat is weird how you don't think too highly of the D22, I've almost 400,000Km out of my one & it has been pretty reliable over that time
ОтветитьMy NP 300 (2016) has done 241000 kms (150000 miles), of which 100000 miles has been towing up too 3.5 ton all over Europe. During this time I’ve had the vehicle regularly serviced by Nissan and apart from the bottom hose rubbing against the bottom pulley and a new battery, the vehicle has been very reliable. Ive averaged 33 mpg over the last 4 years including towing. The engine pulled well even though i was fully loaded and towing nearly 3.5 tons up in The Alps and through the Mont Blanc tunnel, apart from a slight increase in temperature and the viscous fan kicking in, there were no other issues. i personally have found this truck to be comfortable, reliable and economic, low servicing costs at my local Nissan garage (Westway Nissan), so in a nutshell, the truck has been great and i think its not had an easy life but has been well looked after. The truck runs on General Grabber AT3’s.
ОтветитьThe grenade engine .
ОтветитьThat is not an np300
ОтветитьThanks bro. I really love such independent informative videos. Its great to watch content from someone who does not lick the car manufactures boots. Nissan is already out of my list. Toyota with its DPF problem is also out of my wish list. Can you please to another one about reliability of the underdog of UTES market, Mitsubishi Triton.
ОтветитьTiming chain does not take the load of the vehicle when towing it is simply to turn the valve train on a engine
ОтветитьHow was the old 2.7 diesel
Terrano?
Thank god I bought a toyota
ОтветитьYou got a French motor made in Spain, in a car made in Taiwan , with a Japanese badge & your worried a about a timing chain...
Pfft. That's the least of your problems
What are your thoughts on the V9X engine in the D40?
ОтветитьThis lads problem is he's dealing with these cars in his shop all the time because he's a specialist for those cars. Did you know the ford EcoBoost engine has had repeated issues with timing chain stretch, turbo leaks, injector issues? (The same shit nissan engines suffer with and every other turbo diesel engine for that matter) Well that's what happens when you don't maintain your vehicles. There's a reason people say you need to maintain your trucks engine meticulously, especially when being put to work. If you just leave your services to the 18000 miles it says in the handbook, eventually your engine will break regardless of what make and model it is. If you maintain them properly then you'll never have an issue
ОтветитьGot problem with the turbo i guess no power up hill especially 4 n fifth gear
Ответитьhe id something bad on the car this is a bad video i will stiil chose navara
Ответить
