Stronghold Warlords - Gameplay (PC/UHD)

Nothing can beat Stronghold Legends. My favorite one. Although i wish they would remake the Stronghold Crusaders.

Not interested in the asian style build. They need to make a post apocolyptic build game. Use junk parts for walls and such. Fight off nomads and other crap

Totally charmless game. The grid system just boggles the mind and nothing looks organic ie everything looks artificially compared to each other. Really really bizarre art direction

I seriously dont know what were they thinking while making this .... they could have made crusader remastered and we would love it ... i even tried crusader 2 ... not as good as the previous one .... just make the best version of crusader and give us the 3 part of it ..

Builder games like Stronghold, Stronghold Crusader, and Stronghold Warlords are just the best.

There's also Submarine Titans, a similar-ish builder game that takes you underwater in a post apocalyptic world.

Command and Conquer as well.

Yaknow we need a good Stronghold game with custom skirmishes
But like stronghold 1
None of the whole restricted to Oasis’s and such
And obviously fitting the medieval setting
2 and legends come to mind but 2 has you building too much and legends is insanely difficult at times
There’s 3 but it’s missing the custom skirmishes
My idea is a mashup of all the best ideas from the good stronghold games 1, crusader, 2, and 3
Crusader 2 also had a really good skirmish mode

I am a hardcore Stronghold Crusader player, and never played anything beyond that. Seeing something in 3D in this franchise somehow 'breaks' the magic. Anyone agrees?

Since they moved to 3d style, everything went bad. This one gives the vibe like an RTS/wargame focused only on war, which makes everything dull and heartless.
The S1 and SC1 were the same in terms of goals, like killing the opponent, but make no mistake: the graphics 2d, the style of animations, the "interesting" story of S1, was giving colour to the game.
Can you see expressions,happiness, little pretty details in a 3d game like this? I don't think so.

After Stronghold 1 and Crusader they made only mediocare Stronghold games.
What a shame. I still play Stronghold HD in 2022, a fantastic game visually and mechanicly.

Graphics of the first game which created in 2001, is much better than this piece of sh*t. How evolved this game is a big joke. Stronghold 2001 and Stronghold Crusader were masterpieces.

Oriental style kick me out. Need a Roman expansion/mod, or a medieval one.

oh firefly studios, you lost your way. now you repack stronghold crusader , into this abomination, even have same voice lines but with far worse and awkward acting. maybe its time to pick another route and forget about crusader games, cause clearly you cant make proper one. even on stronghold crusader , you fail to encourage players to make proper castles.

Plz tell me this game kept in kingmaker like in stronghold 2, i can play offline vs ai right?

I wont even try it for free, I just need something like SH classic or SH Crusader classic, is this too much to ask? SH2, SH3 and SHCR2 are still better than this one.

Why they don't change a little? I mean this game have same ideas, why they didn't think about building an academy to research for example?

have to be honest, im looking at this game and its just not stronghold for me.... everything is too different, and music is not really that good... i guess everything gets watered down with time

i dont understand why the color scheme of this game is so gloomy and dark. there was a time StrongHold Crusader was a very bright and happy mode game. from Music to Characters everything was really nice. This seems very dark and dull with everything looking very unrealistic compared to Stronghold Crusader. Hit Like if you agree

One thing I don't like about Stronghold series is that the buildings are instantly built, taking no time at all. That's why I prefer Settlers series.
