2008 Toyota Yaris Review

I miss you making these kind of reviews Dan! =) enjoyed your car reviews back starting back around 2008!!

I don't know what your results are but my results are nowhere near your gas mileage results!

I drove one of these, I was expecting it to be gutless anywhere below 3000 rpm, but in the conditions I drove it in, it usually shifted around 2200-2600 and did everything I asked it to, which was pretty amazing. I never needed emergency acceleration, and never needed to pass or merge throughout the duration of the drive, it was mostly stop and go, with a few bits on a country backroad though.

more reliable than any ford, chevy, or dodge out there!!!

how conservatively did you guys drive this car? My moms 07 sedan with the 4AT gets around 30 in town and 36 hwy... The best I got was 39 on pure 250 miles of hwy driving. I'm not surprised hers cant break 40 bc the engine just buzzes away at 3000 revs at 70 mph and even at 60 its still at 2500.
