Awesome review Blair
ОтветитьI'm ready for riding season
ОтветитьI'm curious to see how people handle taller tbars and that dash getting blocked.
ОтветитьLove the merch
ОтветитьGreat video as always.
ОтветитьIt's a great bike. 👍
ОтветитьGreat content as usual, but not your standard comprehensive critique, as it truly is a nice bike. I really like the styling and ergonomics of the RG in particular. With that being said, one thing still has my ire, the cam cover on all the new glides. Harley states that only the CVO's got the VVT. Well, to my knowledge, the standard 117 and the 121 HO have a cam proximity sensor. I was fortunate enough to view all 3 configurations, and there is definitely a wiring harness behind that peninsula on the timing cover. Now riddle me this, why would a MoCo go to the trouble of installing a cam proximity sensor WITHOUT employing a cam phaser (VVT) ? Doesn't make much sense.
In addition, not a gripe, but to what demographic are they marketing this (ready to go out the box) 50K motorcycle to, considering from a price point perspective, they've thinned out the herd quite a bit.
Seems they left some of us diehards of the 60's and 70's out of the game ? We only put Harley on the map 🤷♂
UPDATE: the ECM has been heavily modified to accommodate the VVT, starting with the 23 1/2 CVO's. The aftermarket community is back to the grindstone.
Great review! Enjoyed meeting you yesterday.
ОтветитьGotta say Harley really knocked it out of the park with this one, sure you can nit pick little things here and there being stock but truly Harleys are made to be customized and I myself have made mine the way I want but to already have that power in a stock bike plus the tech that comes with it to me was a smart move for sure
ОтветитьI will likely wait until Daytona Bike Week to ride one. My local dealer will let me, but I don’t feel right in asking them when I know and they probably know too that I won’t be buying one for awhile, like 2 or 3 years down the road. I do like what I’m seeing.
ОтветитьGreat view, thank you. I want one.
Ответить63k In Australia 🤔 Not sure how many Aussies have that sort of cash to splash in this economy
ОтветитьNice bike nice review
ОтветитьBest bike? No
The Pan America, V-Rod, FXDX, or XR-750 are each better in their own way
Best bagger? Without a doubt
Great review! I've been to the dealership, and that bike is AWESOME!!! Out of my price range, it's definitely one that I would buy. 👍👊😎
ОтветитьI am thinking about it. I will let you know if I purchase one next month. Great job on the review.
Ответитьdoes that infotainment have GPS?
ОтветитьPretty sweet! Great review 👍
ОтветитьI agree with you, anyway in my case I have a low rider st and I have more power that I can handle
ОтветитьThey better be perfect stock ,we won’t have any money left over after buying those bikes
ОтветитьMaybe when you reach 50k, you can reward yourself with a new CVO 😅
ОтветитьReally Really great video. Thanks, I have same one same color on the way.
ОтветитьThere are no additional fees from the factory not in 2024, Dealers may differ.
ОтветитьYou should luv every part of it for $43G. Now offer a non CVO version and maybe we'll finally have value for the dollar from this co.
ОтветитьYou only live and buy a CVO once , buy the bike , my 131 CVO S/G made unusable power but it a blast
ОтветитьI agree with you, it feels like Harley knocked it out of the box with the CVO-ST. One dose really have to change anything on the bike, probably will change bars and risers to Thrashin but there is no need really, and the ST-CVO got more power than most can handle. I have to say i really like the new Pan America CVO.
ОтветитьGreat Video...fair assessment of the CVO\ST. I think something is wrong with your camera as it puts black boxes over the speedometer sometimes.... LOL
Was watching your tach....you seem to like to ride the M8's above 3000 rpms, Any particular reason, or just your style?
Thanks for the review and commentary.
Just stopped by a dealer today to check out the 24 models. Don’t care for the tail lights on the new baggers. Look actually worse in person, like something off an old Dodge from the 70s. The dealer was crammed full of unsold 23 models it looked like. Hope the 24 models sell better 😅
ОтветитьGreat review again.. Thank You
ОтветитьThat wind buffering must be terrible. There is no windshield on that thing. Looks cool though 😮. Nice one up bike. It won't surprise me if its a top seller😅
ОтветитьDo you know why the sounds cut out on your recording every few seconds when using your helmet audio?
My set up does the same, it seems like yours got less and less. Any fixes you're willing to share?
awesome ride review
my 2 cents- not a fan of the music during the ride. let’s hear the bike!
I’m a softail guy, I had a ‘19 FXBB and currently have a Baja orange ‘21 FXBBS. I would LOVE to see a CVO Street Bob with better suspension, bigger engine, etc. I don’t see it happening, but it would be nice. Between the two CVO RG ST, I would go with the white one. I love the eagle..
ОтветитьWhy did Harley make this bike? I just got my Indian pursuit. This hurts. Killer bike.
ОтветитьHow’s the wind buffeting?
ОтветитьGreat review 👍👍👍🇳🇿
ОтветитьMan, what a sick bike!! Thanks for the great video! Both colors are rad I can’t decide which one I like better 👍
