The swamp coolers work best outwest in a dry climate I had a few of them the old school ones portables in Oregon and they just worked just fine there where they didn't work somewhere around the Mississippi River

Its incredible to me that so many people still dont understand that a fan doesnt cool the air. It MOVES the air. If you want to cool air you need a compressed gas and an evaporator. I have known this since i was like 11 years old..

They work for crap we tried them in rooms of our home ended up burning them up. Wisconsin neighbor. Buy a tall ocsilating tower fan.

You will have plenty of time to try portable a/c units when you are living in a van down by the river.

Honestly some box fans for cross breezing the inside would have been more effective. Those things are a rather large joke without a source of ice water nearby.

Okay for starters It's Beef pho Pounced FO as in foe and you need beef knuckles and a packet of Pho starter and rice noodles Raman can ONLY replace LOMAIN other wise It's not going to even taste close #2 the Artic air advises you to freeze the filter after you soak it in water SOAK IT not run the sink over it ALSO it recommends for best results to fill the unit with ICEY COLD WATER. Already just by reading the instructions of this POS You should be able to tell that it will not be very effective with the equipment you have. Even in the instructions it says it will only drop the room temp by a few degree's SO NEXT TIME READ ALL INSTUCTIONS THAT COME WITH YOUR DEVICE!!!!!! The Artic air is more of an cold air Humidifier and not really and air conditioner for a/c get some installed in your dinky VW Bug want to be car and then you will have real a/c otherwise your screwed to put it simply. Sorry dude you got scammed by as seen on T.V.

Those things SUCK. I got one for my work desk and it didn't do squat. I got it on sale for $15. Waste of money.

It is a swamp cooler it only works in dry conditions low humidity works on evaporation. GIMMICK

This water chiller will work well in dry hot environment, it will not cool well in humid weather. The only way to make it cool in your situation is to fill it with ice and water. Have a good time.

I have used an Arctic air. It works better with ice added to it.

When you put the wet thing in the freezer and freeze it and take it out use it that way works better.

i live in texas and its over 100F the last couple of months and i have one of these, i set mine on my desk and have it blowing right on me along with a tower fan and so far it has worked really well, you can put ice in the water and even freeze the filter when you are not using it

Of course you don't have ice cuz I believe one of the two versions of those you can put ice in as well! However if you could just spend that up high being that cold air Falls even with the humidity in autowerke better than that I would be totally disappointed to thank you for the video! I have considered one of those.

Those things really are nothing more than overpriced, glorified mini evaporation coolers (a.k.a. swamp coolers). In fact, you can build your own for cheaper and just be as effective. The thing about those types of coolers is that they don't work well in humid conditions to the point that they're completely useless.

Might work better with all the outside air not coming ie screens and door closed lol
