What are the strategies to find out the use of specific words during a negotiation
ОтветитьWith due respect, but i gotta say my take on this, especially 10 years later, in our sociopathic hyper-competitive job market.
ABSOLUTELY LIE.
The only problem with lying is that you have to be exceptionally good at it. It takes a lot of skill, because even the tone in which you say stuff matters hugely. You have to look a certain way, you jave to nail your posture and mannerisms down. You have to practice lying a lot.
But. It pays off. In a big way. And it won't matter in the long run, because the current meta is job hopping every 2 years for the maximization of you ROI so to speak.
If you have a gap in your resume - fill it with your previous position. You also have to think of a way to work around when they do a background check and some DD on you. Call up the references you provided and tell them to say that you've been working on your position even after you left the company. Promise them a gift card or something for it.
Devil is in the details. This is why most people shouldn't lie. Because they never developed this and saw lying as a skill.
If i lie about something i think 3-5 levels below the surface of the question that i lie about, and think out all possible follow-up questions, and think of the most convincing way to weave in the answers with previous stuff.
It takes a lot of time to get good at. Some people may never even become good at lying due to intelligence constraints/painful self-awareness and self-esteem problems.
But lying is THE tool, in today's day and age. You should learn how to use it.
If you're too good at lying, then you're set

ОтветитьThe jobs, the economy, and the money are all fakes. In a system that appears to be set up to favor the wealthy while keeping the poor at a disadvantage, it is very difficult for someone from a low socioeconomic status to become wealthy or financially stable. You are rejected from every job you apply for because the employer lacks the funds to pay you a salary. Additionally, the lack of access to quality education and resources further perpetuates the cycle of poverty, making it nearly impossible for individuals to break free from their disadvantaged circumstances. Recognizing the systemic injustices that exist is crucial as we work to build a more just society. It is important to address not only the issue of low salaries but also the underlying factors that contribute to poverty. This includes advocating for policies and programs that provide equal opportunities for education and resources to all individuals, regardless of their socioeconomic status.

ОтветитьOne hour of training on how to negotiate a job offer? If you can’t explain it to me in 60 seconds, it’s a scam or a waste of time or both. The guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
Don’t negotiate. It’s not a bazaar. Accept the job. Immediately start looking for another, better paying job.
Untill and unless u have something worth to make u feel eligible for the same, u will always be lacking the confidence for the same...

ОтветитьThanks for the great tips! I stumbled into your video while I'm in the middle of a package nego with a prospective new employer. Btw, your manner of presentation and your voice sounds like Al Pacino.
ОтветитьDesi Al Pacino
Ответить👍🏻 🇺🇲
ОтветитьThe camera work on this was so distracting.
ОтветитьGreat sir
ОтветитьValuable presentation but two points that I think are very important: 1. It’s critical to understand who the decision maker is in every negotiation and if you’re not working with that person what is their relationship with the decision maker so you can better understand how much progress can be made with the person you’re speaking to and 2. This is all assuming you’re negotiating from a point of leverage. Some of these points completely change when you aren’t the top candidate or if there are alternatives to you, it’s quite rare in a negotiation to be on the side of leverage, usually you’re negotiating at an equal level or even where the other party has the leverage. This is where real negotiation skills are critical as you still need to persuade how you are the best option to create leverage to level the playing field
ОтветитьMay i asK about Mr Malhotra's contact information, i have a lot of questions related to the subject
ОтветитьI came across this video when I am about to negotiate an offer. Some of his points actually happened during the process for example, the hiring manager wanted to know whether I will for sure accept the offer if she work internally to give me a better offer that I ask for. I think the professor stands out from other salary negotiation Videos because he explained not only what to do but also what to think and why.
ОтветитьThis video was very easy to understand and to the point. This information will be useful to me in negotiating a job offer.
ОтветитьAwesome to listen to! I enjoyed how he uses real-life examples and tips on how to negotiate. He is straight to the point and knowledgeable.
ОтветитьThis is huge. Love this lecture.
