Your time to visit monasteries was wrong that's the reason you haven't met anyone.if you're going to visit monasteries at ladakh should be in a morning . Every monastery has a particular monk as an incharge first you should meet him for proper visit to the monastery but still you did cover nicely in your short time .Love form LADAKH

There's nothing worth a dam in Leh...seems a dead place...Can't imagine a restaurant showing Tibetian Cuisine...but only on the menu.

What s shame..Its only a place worth for half a day...visit the monetary and scoot out..otherwise a waste and boring.

After the Invision of Tibet Mao said we have to take over the five finger of Tibet which is Ladakh Sikkim Nepal Bhutan Prunachal Pradesh. Tibet is landlocked so CCP hatched BRI plan with debt trap loans.

Yeah, what a place, I was lucky to get there some 41 years ago and wen to the Hemis festival, mind boggling! More up north Lahul and Spiti, Mustang Area in Nepal, Smye area in Tibet or Karakorum in Pakistan offer similar experiences... wonderful place this planet! The bus ride from Srinagar to Leh, via Kargil took 24 hrs. including overnight stay in Kargil !!!

Obviously, thanks to either the chinese or tibetan cultures, this place is not a philthy, polluted dump just like the rest of this country.

Yeah the locals don't like you. Its because you are wearing black. You have no gifts or offerings, not much. Your voice is quick. Your camera bounces around. You are barely in the present moment, talking about a taxi during prayers. Thats what I notice in this video.

its too bad - looks like an interesting video doc but the GoPRO POV camera view is so disorienting that I couldn't watch it. I became nauseous as I always do when a movie camera shows this point-of-view mode with all it's dizzying angles and movement of the camera. In concept it's a good idea but this way of movie shooting should be abandoned. The old fashioned way of pointing a camera and filming works much better!
