That is sadly sadly one of the most pathetic visions of defunct hygiene I have seen in a while. A lot of Indian people with this invasion of maggots in their ears nose and mouth. I don’t understand it either but they bathe and get drinking water from a river polluted with human and animal carcasses as well as body waste. I know if I were unable to keep clean my husband and daughter would scrub me up. I don’t understand the culture etc.
