i feel sad for Émilie Gillet
ОтветитьThat Zoom multistomp has equally no rights to be this good. It's just insane
ОтветитьThe Microfreak might be my first synth but before that I need to get better audio equipment like a good microphone and better headphones (jack earbuds are not ideal).
ОтветитьDoes the microfreak have a buiult in sequencer? Can you just make beats on it stand alone out in the wild?
Ответитьwhere is zoom info
ОтветитьYou've Done it Venus Theory. You've inspired me to make something awesome. Thank you
ОтветитьI have a question. I imagine you will need external speakers plugged in to actually hear the sound, but do you need an external clock or is one built in to either?
ОтветитьThe microfreak has some great sounds, but the feel of the keyboard makes it too difficult to be consistent in a live environment
ОтветитьYo what daw is better for simple synth stuff. My name is Christian moog and my family created the moog synthesizer. I want to make sum music with my microfreak but before I spend on a daw, I wanna ask wichine would you say has a better workflow
ОтветитьDamn it. Now I need one of those.
ОтветитьHi, what's your opinion about the Behringer 2600 synthesizer? I'm in doubt about getting the 2600 or the one in the video. Hope you read this :)
ОтветитьHave a mini want the micro 🤙🏻 not first on my wishlist though
ОтветитьWhat's with the creepy scorpion?
ОтветитьI have a Microfreak and idk why I feel like it’s just a toy and not a real instrument. I barely use it. It does sound sick but maybe it’s the build quality that makes me feel like it’s not legitimate to actually use 😆
ОтветитьVenus theory more like peni….
ОтветитьWonder how many more people bought that zoom pedal only to be dissapointed by high frequency whine from the psu (regardless of isolation)
Ответитьits not THAT good..
BEAKERS
Dude. What kind of microphone are you using? You have that golden voice microphone quality
ОтветитьMy question is, if it’s a digital synth, why not purchase a high quality VST synth with more features + great hardware controller?
ОтветитьGot a Stellar today. Can't wait to twiddle some knobs! 😂
ОтветитьIt is an amazing synth. My problem is, however, the predominantly glassy/metallic sound I hear in almost every patch. Ideal for people looking only for that particular sound, but not so ideal for people looking for an all-rounder, suggested by this synth's capabilities.
ОтветитьWhat do I think? I think they're bolth pretty amazing.
ОтветитьCause it has Plaits firmware.
ОтветитьWhy has no one mentioned the Asahi Pentax lens?
ОтветитьI wonder how many subscribers You got simply because of Your voice. It's setting the mood so well :D
ОтветитьI see the Asahi Pentax lens, are you also into film photography? ;)
Hope youre well bro!
I bought the microfreak synth when it was originally launched 5 or six years ago. I still love it to bits and still do. Because of this i pre-ordered a mini freak last year but after 3 weeks returned it in exchange for a guitar plus a few pedals as it didn't inspire me like the original. I hated the keybed and the extra features meant it wasn't as inspiring as the micro as a hardware synth. It felt more like a vst in this regard, ie something to be programmed as opposed to played. I also felt the sem style filter was a bit characterless with poliphony whereas in the monophonic micro i didn't have this issue. For sure the microfreak feels, sounds and plays like a classic but the minifreak left me feeling somewhat underwhelmed.
ОтветитьI like the hands-on controls. It gives the user more of a creative sense as opposed to accepting factory presets. It would probably help me understand the myriad of parameter controls on my older Nord.
ОтветитьLove my micro, but always lament the lack of 'warmer, softer' tones... which kind of has me GASing over the Mini with its' built-in FX and more voices to layer etc. Though no doubt about it, the Micro has oodles of 'personality'!
ОтветитьI love these raw, gritty sounds
ОтветитьThe microfreak really does cover so much ground! I used Sugru to put soft edges on the keys and I love it! It worked perfectly. I especially like the capacitive touch but didn't like the sharpness of the keys.
ОтветитьAlthough I haven’t spent much time with it yet, I do have a micro freak. When I got it the plan was to get some unique oscillating going, however soon after I got it, I got a minlouge XD and the NTS1 and have been going ballistic with the user made for very inexpensive oscillating and fx. It’s pretty late at night when I’m writing this, but I think I may play with it tomorrow because of this and a couple of videos I watched tonight which is why I got it!
ОтветитьCan most, if not all, these sounds be made with Serum or Vital?
ОтветитьThe micro got a strange keyboard and the lack of effects is somewhat disappointing, but not tragic. It is impressive for the money. The mini on the other hand a bit more expensive, but got effects, two oscillators, a more useful keyboard, but the letdown is, that you can buy it as a plugin, which is even easier to edit. Not to say the plugin is even the cheapest option available. Plugin with all the features, micro more expensive with limited features and the mini hw which is the same as the plugin except it is hardware. While there is something for everybody, one on a budget has to chose between less featured hardware or more featured plugin. I don't know what arturia's product management was thinking, but why make the choices harder for the customers? Oh and wait, there is the hydrasynth explorer, a different beast in the price range of the minifreak. You'd be better off to go with the hydra explorer, and the minifreak plugin.
ОтветитьAs some others have said, I gotta go with the micro because of the unique keybed. When I need something more 'normal' my Keylab covers it, as well as my Push 2. There are some cool features on the mini that look like added fun, though.
ОтветитьI had the pleasure of trying one of these on display at a Guitar Center.
I absolutely loved it, but because it had the touch keys I thought nah I'll find something better. Plus they weren't even in stock because of the supply chain issues at the time.
Now I'm constantly telling myself I'm going to order one, and I only hear more good things about them.
Love the Asahi Pentax lens feature. M42 FTW.
Ответитьlove the microfreak damn soon i ll get one ... this synh is really great price is so good !=) i ll start live and this is my first item to get ! nice video mate !
ОтветитьCan the Mini Freak do everything the micro freak does?
ОтветитьIt truly does something uniquely different from all my other machines, and in an effective way. The Micro's weird "responsive but not" keys are even kinda fun. Love mine!
ОтветитьReally want the microfreak. I don't get down to my garden studio much at the moment now I'm a dad. Being able to tinker on a hardware synth would be good fun
ОтветитьI’ve had a MicroFreak for a month now (bought second-hand from a Music Go Round store in Duluth Mn—don’t go to such a store if you don’t have time to get sucked in 😄) and yeah, the features it packs is pretty “dope”! I knew right away, though, that I would NEED effects, so I also have a Mooer PE100 multi-effects pedal, which is good. For a STARTER pedal. But the flexibility of a Zoom MS70CDR—especially how you can chain up to six different effects in ANY ORDER YOU CHOOSE—was such a compelling draw for me…got one being delivered…can’t wait till it gets here! Overall, I’m NOT DISAPPOINTED with the MicroFreak. And Arturia does have one of the BEST customer service teams I ever experienced (shout out to “Garcia”, who within 24 hours got that used uFreak transitioned/registered in my name)! 👍🏼👍🏼
Ответитьpersonally love the microfreak but i could not get it to work wiht external midi data - tried mpc , cirklon and arturia midi controller..
Anybody had a similar experience? I went through all the utility settings, adjusted midi channel , tried the different midi options like merge etc. nothing worked.
I returned it but im keen to see if someone has encountered and fixed this issue... Would still buy it if I knew it works without hassle.
For your money let's do the math : 1 / Teenage Engineering = Arturia
ОтветитьI’ve never considered owning hardware until I came across the Microfreak. Like many of us, I’m used to software, so hardware has never crossed my mind until i picked one up a few months ago (side note, this thing looks straight out of Zelda lol) This synth does so much for me, musically and personally, and it reminds me when I had a Casio MT65 as a kid. I had so much fun with that thing, and now in my older years, I feel that same feeling with the Microfreak and I will forever love this thing.
ОтветитьIt's really cool that there's the vst version now to try before you buy the machine and just get a visual way to see what's going on inside your patches 😊
ОтветитьI feel that the Micro Freak will be my first HW synth. I fell in love with it when i first saw it. 🤤
ОтветитьSo I just need a ts cable going from the output on the Micro Freak to my pedalboard?
Ответить
