What achievement do you think will be hardest in no step back?

i found a bug where if in the game you complete the fuhrer directive 21 you can get "Not Much fun in Stalingrad" whalst still taking Stalingrad

I got the no fun at stalingrad achievement by having a faction member take it instead

I know I'm sort of necroposting here and no1 asked, but i like talking so yea:

I got this achievement pretty ezpz all I did as Germany was 1) beat the Allies ezpz 2) Kill the soviets 3) slog into puppet China and kill off Japan 4) Invade Spain 5) build like 2 railroads and I got the achievement. IDK why it was so easy to get it once I beat everyone needed, I expected like a year of in game time to get it but no, happened in like a month.

This isn't to say it's "easy," invading Japan and China was god awful. But for all things considered, it isn't hard. It just takes a lot of time and depending on how fast you kill Japan and China, it just takes time.

Around Euroasia in 80 days EZ, just play Italy, wait for Germany to destroy France then just declare on vichy LOL and screw up Spain, and I assume you know how to play Italy so you already pretty much wiped the deck with the Balkans and destroyed Turkey early on before they are guaranteed, when WW2 kicks off for real, just wipe the deck in Africa, EZ as Italy, then declare on Iraq, Iran to push into Raj, and send your minion tanks to run them all over, and as you screwed up Raj which is quite easy as they are weak in 1941, then station your troops near China border if Japan has actually managed to take them out, then declare on Siam and just roll your little tanks down straight into Malay, and as you do all of this, you always build your railway, maximum level because WHY NOT.

Feedback, as a person who beelined for the “this achievement is cheesy” I can say that it wasn’t that hard. The only difficulty is the inevitable war with the ussr and getting to Lapland. You do not however become a German puppet as of now so that’s a bonus
Edit: Siberian tiger is hard, but fun. There’s allegedly a way to cheese it, but I didn’t do that. It was very rewarding

soviet onion isn’t that hard you just puppet finland estonia latvia and tannu tuva but you need to go down trotskyist path of autonomous soviet republics so you could release ukraine belarus and other countries as puppets so you wouldn’t do wc

i didn’t go all the way through vladivostok i took caucasus, ukraine, belarus, upper russia, great steppe and boom they capitulate

Around Eurasia in 80 days is easy if you play as Germany, you just need the railway to run through countries in your faction, just beat the Allies early and I believe I had to take Siam as well to join the railway up
I just got this is going to be Lit by going the monarchist route and get Poland through the focus tree and just going to war with latvia and estonia, once you have formed the common wealth take on Germany you just need to occupy Berlin you don't need to win the war
Not much fun in Stalingrad is easy, just collab goverments to the max and then they will capitulate without taking Stalingrad, when I got it I didn't take Moscow either

Gibraltar to Singapore sounds harder than it is. As Germany you can still easily take over the allies by 1940, Soviets by 1942, then you just take Iran and Siam. You're done with the achievement. You can build railways in allies and puppets so, you don't have to declare war on everyone. More of a faction-world conquest than a real WC

Fun fact, Ostland is technically Swedish for cheese land (aka ost = cheese)

The easy way for Russia -> Rome would be through Turkey. Puppet Turkey - keep their navy - naval invade Italy.

I got the Not Fun in Stalingrad achievement yesterday, it was extremely hard because I made the mistake of not doing the collaboration government in my agency tab. I had to reach past the Urals which just took a lot of time because of freezing temperatures and barely any supply.

Lithuania doesn't border the soviet union until poland dies.

post-release of NSB, I've gotten the achievement, and I needed mil-access through all states required. Since you can build railways in allied states now, it's not all that difficult, but it requires a lot of warring.

I did the "Not much fun in Stalingrad" without collaboration government

I think that the train from Gibraltar to Singapur is really easy. as i saw in the wiki about the achievement, to exist a conection, you have to control the territory or your allies. With no appeasment uk and win the ww2, you only have to conquer Siam, Spain and Irak and Irán, the rest of countries Will be your allies. Gibraltar, Spain, France, Italy when you win, Yugoslavia,greece, turkey, Irak, irán, British Raj, Siam, and British malaya. Almost all allies.

Getting an anti-soviet pack helps with the one you can't take stalingrad because then you are on the defensive when winter war breaks out, and could even get Poland in Axis with historical.

The Soviets have a focus that enables mass-releasing internal SSR-puppets. This means that the Soviet Onion might be possible without conquering a single country.

for soviet onion, you can release caucuses, belarus, ukraine, some of the eastern republics and karelia. then invade the baltics and finland.

for soviet onion you can just release every possible country and then invade who ever is left

the stalingrad one will be easy as it will eventually become their capital meaning their tropps who are cut off from stalingrad will die instantly, the only difficult part will be making sure an AI teammate doesnt take it

Not Much Fun In Stalingrad is a Monty Python reference. They did a sketch of Hitler, Ribbentrop and Himmler in a bedsit in England all looking over a map, and nobody knows who they are. They claim to be planning a hike, but one of the other visitors notices it is a map of Stalingrad and utters the line "You wouldn't have had much fun in Stalingrad"
