Horizon Zero Dawn Early Game Level Up Faster & More Shards

This is very good for exp, and if you need shards, then buy a couple options from the merchant, stand a but back, then drop them all. Once done, pick them all up and repeat. This gives you infinite options and shards

What I do is... I stand at the campfire (by the merchant) fire arrow the canisters on the Grazers backs, right as when I'm gaining my xp, I then quick save then restart from save (much faster on ps5, xss, xsx & pc). Repeat this process. I gained over 20k in 7mins or so..no joke

tried this works pretty well. if you guys wanna wait little finish the embrace (just another few extra stories) and do the frozen wild area. set to story mode, kill the scorcher at the start, gains 11k exp and repeat. super fast. but yea need DLC and happens. or just finish frozen Wild and I was 46lvl. btw this was done with all basic gear at the embrace with sharpshooter (common) so don't need fancy armor or gear.

Don't use fire arrows wait till you get to a place called day Tower and you can get the shadow sharp shot bow which has harvest arrows and if you used to harvest arrows on the blade cannisters to give you six Each

This isn't quite as quick as this and requires some initial work but for me to level up quickly.
*Needs Frozen Wilds DLC
1. Get all power cells for Shield Weaver. (Each location has a glitch that enables early entry)
2. Get a Rare SharpShot Bow, if you don't already have one.
3. Head to The Cut (Frozen Wilds area, North of Grave Hoarde.
4. Hunt goats and badgers until you can buy the BlueGleam map locations.
5. Collect all you can. Then buy Banuk Powershot Bow and Banuk Striker Bow.
6. Search and destroy any Daemonic machine that you can. Start small, or big if your confident. Daemonic versions of machines have additional offensive abilities and are far more aggressive. But your shield armor will mean you don't need to constantly forage healing plants.
7. Daemonic machines can give between 5000-10000 exp per kill.

I did this by repeating the lodge trials and farming them.

With all the time you’re wasting chasing them down, you could just do a trial for more rewards and stay on the trial side, using the log falls to take them out as they run instead of crossing the river every time. The trial guy resets everything for you

May as well do the hunter trials while youre at this spot for the rewards box and i believe even more exp

You can always farm the 3 corpses near Nill twice .. so u quick save go to the 3 corpses near Nill and then kill the grazers with fire arrow kill them all loot after that the corpses have reset near Nill and then quick save after that load rinse and repeat .

An easier way for this farming is to activate the hunter trials, kill all the surrounding grazers, abandon the trial and repeat

I usually start the Game by going to the scrappers at a córner of the first map at the beggining of the Game To get purple mods and exp. Gonna do this run after i fill My inventory with purple mods

got into Tramplers area in desert, first time ever running out of blaze canisters from using explosive trip wires so much. still learning tricks and each different machine animal.

my largist prob is by this time in game im already level 10- 15.. (i cant remember sadly since i droped the game soon as i got to this area (on ps4pro did not know if was coming on PC so soon.... so i finly gotten the game not full priced)
trying to find other great areas to level up fast. i mostly got to this level when i was at mostly threw exploring the map and trying to level all my bags up at this point. lol

my tip to get shards is raid the bandit camps you will get 600-800 shards

Actually, you'll want to get the sharpshot bow asap. Then head to this area and start any hunting trial. Just slide down a rope and start to stealth kill these grazers with your spear (to save on arrows if you want). Then use your sharpshot bow with the "harvest" arrows to shoot off the blaze. Instead of registering 1 blaze it actually registers 6. This is what the "harvest" arrows are meant for. You can also use these arrows on freeze canisters and the horns from all other machines. It does take a little time, but yes, it's worth it to build up your resources early.

When using Harvesting Arrows you get 6 Blaze instead of 1 and if you shoot off the antlers you 6 shards instead of 1. So each Grazer you can get 18-24 Blaze and 12 Shards. You can sell the Blaze you don't need to the vender for more shards.

why not just save t hen reload the save ? saves alot of time :P
