If this represents the future of Hardstyle, I prefer to remain loyal to the classic and euphoric styles.

While I appreciate producers' desire to venture into new territories, I'm curious as to why many Hardstyle producers have recently adopted laser kicks, saw kicks, and captivating euphoric build-ups, only to abruptly introduce an anticlimax in the first break that bears no resemblance to the purpose of the build-up. If we're lucky, we might encounter a decent melody in the second break. However, such songs ultimately detract from the overall music experience in my opinion. The drops seem as though they were haphazardly inserted from another track using Virtual DJ, lacking any connection to the vocals or build-up.

It's commendable to explore new styles and infuse Hardstyle with freshness and vitality, but when everyone jumps on the same bandwagon simply because other producers are doing so, it's detrimental to the genre. We witnessed a similar phenomenon when many producers, including Showtek, suddenly embraced the Bigroom trend under the guise of exploring a new style.

Happy that 'The Future' actually means a sort of reroute to his older sound. I thoroughly enjoyed his harder more 'raw' (or that pre euphoric) type of style from him. Honestly wasn't looking forward to another ping pong kick artist tbh. But, he did it in a maner of not losing that 'Red Planet' vibe. Now, i am looking forward to the future of Code Black.

The whole track as an idea is a bad rip off with horrible Kicks of "Anderex - Digital Dystopia". Shame on you.

I didn't get into hardstyle till 2013, and Code Black was one of the first people I listened to on repeat at that time, very euphoric sounding hardstyle was my favourite. I just see no hardstyle today being made like it was back then. Sad times, this is fine, Vertile is fine fine, they're all fine, it's just not the same as the golden era of euphoric hardstyle, everyone is just doing raw now and I am bored.
