I have the biggest tongue i have ever seen and im overrr it. Messed up my teeth

I was told by my orthodontists specifically NOT to let my tongue touch my teeth. Now i don't have enough space for my tongue. How could they have gotten it so damn wrong?

Vertically My tongue completly fit into my pallate with posterior third easily no chock at all but not wide is it normal?

It’s a serious problem because it can interfere with proper breathing! Especially while sleeping. Causing sleep apnea. We should also back way up here and acknowledge the role of breastfeeding and how it plays into the proper development of the muscles of the mouth AND how it trains the tongue to naturally rest on the roof of the mouth. Then you don’t have to teach the child to rest the tongue on the palate because it will naturally find its home there.

How about the myobrace is it something that is recommended?
