I'm thinking between the five series and the 6 series TCL. But I have heard that there is coil whine with the 6 series when it goes to a dark screen. Have you experienced this with yours?

All of these tvs are eithercapped at 60hz or dont have HDMI 2.1. Useless to me as I want the full 4k 120. But good video regardless!

Was going to grab something new for holiday sales…nothing I really wanted popped up… went with tcl series 4…60fps is plenty until the big boppers start making 120hz their standard. Very happy with the 4 series.

I got an lg nano85 its 120hz and looks awsome without local dimming on for the ps5 and paid 650 new but id suggest the nano 90 and up its full array and not edge lit makes a big azz difference..hdmi 2.1 VRR

The TCL 6-series is not $800. Perhaps it was at the time this video was release, but it's a $1,000 TV now. I just bought a budget Tv for my PS5 - It's a 50" Vizio MQ7 2020 model. It was only $429 at Gamestop website. It is capped at 60Hz, but it does have VRR, HDMI 2.1 and a gaming mode that features auto low latency. I don't think you can beat that in this price range. Also, it's worth noting that 90% of the existing PS5 games don't even have a 120Hz mode at this point. I think this Vizio should be fine for the next 12 months. I assume 120Hz will become the norm around this time next year.

Great video. One question: I have yet to unbox and set-up my PS5 Console, but my TV is only 100Hz capable (or "100 Smooth Motion Rate"). I know I can only use upto a 2.0B HDMI Cord (Not a nicer 2.1 Cord), but all in all will this satisfy me to experience a "decent" Game and HD player?
