OEMTOOLS 27037 Front Hub Puller

This tool is called a front hub puller. All my 4 hubs are the same (an all-wheel drive Subaru). Will it work on the rear hubs as well as the front?

The hub removal tools work on 5 lug wheels. I tried it on a 6 lug & it doesn't fit

I rented this today and it wouldn't fit over my studs on the rear hub of my 2007 Cadillac srx. Is there a different hub puller for the rear?

What does the screw push against? In the video it appears that you leave the axle nut in place which would prevent the hub from coming out.
