I used 5% hydrogen peroxide drops (otex) perscribed from the doctor because i have alot of wax build up i used it for the recommended 3 days and ive been left with a blocked ear and constant ringing for over 2 weeks 😢 its effecting my life without sounding dramatic 😫 doctor said to keep using the drops longer but im so scared the ringing will get louder 😫 has any1 else experienced this please?
ОтветитьHow much in droplet syringe. Do we dilute it?
And then rinse with warm water how long after applying
I've been experiencing a blocked ear for months and tried everything. One thing that frustrates me is this warning I keep hearing; "If you have a perforated eardrum . . .". Er, how do I check if I have a perforated ear drum, how would I know.
ОтветитьEar wax has a ph level of 7. Distilled water has ph level of 6 which is acidic, which will devolve ear wax. Stop buying chemicals and use distilled water to clean your ears. If you can find a lower ph water that's 5 it'll work better. But don't go lower than ph of 5 because it could cause irritation. Olive oil does nothing to dissolve ear wax. Stop using it lol. How has no one understand yet that ph levels and how more acidity will devolve the higher ph level....lol science.....Hydrogen peroxide has ph of 5-6 but is a chemical! Learn learn learn.
ОтветитьMy ENT (several yrs ago) never used water to irrigate wax out of my ears. Someone before him, used warm water with peroxide, and it got behind my wax. I had an ear infection and I believe it caused my tinniness in my ear. Since then I will not go to an ENT that uses water irrigation! I'll do drops to loosen as much as I can a week or two before my appt. If you do use peroxide, mix it 50 percent and 50 percent warm water. Don't use straight!
ОтветитьYes your videos have been of great help to me and my family.
ОтветитьIt works with tooth aches and ear aches, many times I've avoided painful infections using Hydrogen Peroxide keeping me out of the dentist chair and the hospital.
ОтветитьPlease consult a professional ENT before putting anything in your ear. You could burst your eardrum with a bulb syringe. Also, if there is a tear in your eardrum some substances are ototoxic (toxic to the inner ear) and could cause serious damage. Your hearing is very important. You deserve to have a specialist look at your ears and treat you if you have a problem.
ОтветитьShop Vac works great too
ОтветитьIs there a recommended concentration or dilution of the hydrogen peroxide, or just regular, over the counter strength? I'm sure my mum used to use it to bleach blonde her hair in the 60s. It was pretty stinky stuff.
ОтветитьDrops of olive oil has been used for centuries to remove earwax. It's the most effective self cleaner
Ответитьi use a chopstick & i insert in one ear & it magically pushes it through the other side & out the other ear
ОтветитьWould it be better to use purified distilled water for flushing? I think the problem is tap water which is loaded with bacteria and God knows what else.
ОтветитьDo this, but it's recommended not to, because it can cause ear infection. Got it.
ОтветитьYes. Agreed. It works. Thank you Doc.
ОтветитьI have a clogged ear from using debrox. I am a little leery to do this.
ОтветитьThe best way is ear cones you can get from a health food store FJB
Ответитьفارسی ترجمه بشه برای ماترجمه فارسی نداره
ОтветитьYes...
ОтветитьI love Dr.Mandel but I really disagree with him on this one. Risking
ear infection (very dangerous) is not worth cleaning out ear wax.
Let a professional handle this.
what strength hydrogen peroxide?
ОтветитьThank you. You are always encouraging!
ОтветитьWhat do you think of ear candles Doctor for removing ear wax?
ОтветитьSodium bicarbonate actually works better. I do use peroxide, and it works like a charm, but peroxide takes away the natural acidity in the ear canal, so a rinse with steam distilled water (cool, of course) or a solution of vinegar and distilled water is good. The natural acidity helps fight fungus in the ear. I dont really get bad wax buildup, but some people do. If you use earbuds all the time, remember to disinfect them everyday, also - keep the outer ear canal clean to avoid infection.
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьI have a safer way to suck out wax from ears: bake a medium yellow onion in oven 300 degree. Do not cook it. Just bake long enough to make onion hot, about 15mn.
Take out. Cool it a little. Cut in half and put the cut side of the onion to the ear. Make sure the onion is not hot, but not cool either. Keep it pressed at your ear until it cool down, about half hour. The fume of onion will suck out the wax. You will feel it if you use your pinky to touch inside of your ear. Take out the wax with clean pinky or something clean.
You can do on both ears at the same time. It cure earache also.
Just have your girlfriend lick it out, works great for 4 play!
ОтветитьThe peroxide has been deluded to 3 percent. It doesn't clean the ear the was it once did. At least it doesn't seem to do mine. It use to bubble up but now it doesn't.
ОтветитьHydrogen peroxide ughhh that stuff starts bubbling in your ears as it eats the wax and lasts for hours. Its annoying.
ОтветитьI wish Dr Mandela would get to the point and not waffle
ОтветитьThank you, I have dry ears. Any recomendation on how to safely lubricate inside the ear? I dont have a hearing problem, but certaily have dryness, probably from left over soap after a shower, but not sure?
ОтветитьWorst video ever
ОтветитьWarm olive and sodium bicarbonate works great.
ОтветитьDo you mix the peroxide with water or use straight?
Ответитьmix 10 ml Isopropanol( @80-90%) + 10 ml white vinegar + 5 drops iodine. Add 4 drops in each ear canal for 5 to 10 minutes and drain. Great for ear wax and ear infection prevention/treatment.
ОтветитьWhat if you hear some sound
ОтветитьWhat about earwax candles?
ОтветитьGood ideas by doc thanks.
ОтветитьYou're the best Doc Thank you 👍👍👍
Ответить3 or 6% peroxide?
ОтветитьNever tried this before but i am so how many drops in each ear and afterwards do what
ОтветитьThe Peroxide will also stop the itching. I have maniers and I use all the time.
ОтветитьThank you so much for this tip. I will definitely try it.
ОтветитьJust recommend....??
ОтветитьWeird but I only get wax in my right ear.
ОтветитьI had a quick question. My right ear has literally been "plugged" for about 7 years. If I plug my nose and push air out... my right ear unplugs for about 15-20 seconds... then gets plugged again. I have been to an ENT... had tests... they can't find anything... yet the issue remains. Any ideas?
ОтветитьI know now from experience, never flush your ears unless you want and horrible bacterial infection that will require compounded meds and weeks to recover from. I have a medical professional remove the wax every six months. Takes 2 minutes.
ОтветитьYou may be confusing not hearing with not listening 😂
