I used to watch a tiktoker of the age of 20 (just turned 20) and I saw her die of all her symptoms. very very sad to see someone that young as sick but her and her family were not taking it seriously. She was twerking in hospital and posted videos a week before dying saying she was not eating much and was so tired & could not hear

ОтветитьThank you Dr Igudia for being the most trusted doctor among all, your professionalism was on a high standard, thank you for coming to help me out with my type 2 diabetic
ОтветитьMy aunt was type 1 diabetic and killed herself by deliberately inducing DKA. I can't imagine how much pain she was in before she finally went. So sad :( This is why mental health and physical health need to go hand in hand and not treated as two separate things. They are intricate.
ОтветитьMy mum died from this. Her autopsy showed she had pneumonia and bronchitis which caused diabetic ketoacidosis 🥺 we all had the cold at the same time so we thought that she only had a cold but we were terribly wrong.
ОтветитьTwo things I would add to this is that one of the hallmark signs of ketoacidosis is a musky corn or "popcorn" smell in sweat or urine. I used to get this often especially in my socks and shoes when I exercise, or when I sweat at night my shirt would reek of it. The other thing is that while hypokalemia makes you more acidic, this and ketoacidosis can be better controlled through potassium supplementation, namely potassium citrate. Around 3500mg of potassium is recommended per day, however this is potassium compounds NOT elemental potassium (K+). For example a supplement might say 99mg elemental potassium but provide 350mg potassium. Taking 3500mg+ of elemental potassium would probably be dangerous since excessive potassium causes myocardial infarction and death.
ОтветитьThank's dude 👍👍
ОтветитьThank u for ur information ❤️
ОтветитьCan someone please help me? I’ve been suffering from migraines with nausea and vomiting that lasts all day along with incredible fatigue, for the past year almost. It happens to me at least once a month and I have a toddler. I’m scared that it’s something really serious but a neurologist told me that I have primary migraine disorder but didn’t do any actual tests on me.
ОтветитьGod bless now and always Dr Igudia. And I really wanted to say a very big thanks for helping me cure my type 2 Diabetes I thought it was the end until I meant you keep saving lives doctor.

ОтветитьMy problem is insulin makes you gain weight. Every since I've got my numbers better I've packed on serious weight. 50+ lbs and it's depressing

ОтветитьI went exactly through all of this before I was admitted to the ER. I was hours away from a comatose. So thank you for helping me learn more about my diagnosis.
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьTen days ago I very nearly died with this. It is no joke. I was wrongly diagnosed as type 2 and had pneumonia. Absolutely terrifying.

ОтветитьMost of you people will be fine I almost died I masked ketoacidosis with fentanyl for 14 months by accident. I ended up urinating plasma (blood) that's how I found out and that's how bad it feels. I could no longer get out of bed or climb up stairs and trying to breathe would make me sweat like if I was running a Marathon. It is vital to end sugar and not look back most people with this should not be eating more than 36 grams of sugar after this event anymore and we need to stop judging people for their lifestyles.
ОтветитьI love the way you pronounce insuline haha, great video thank you!
ОтветитьA life saver presentation......... Very beautifully explained in such short time
ОтветитьI just got out of the hospital. I was in ICU the first day and two more days in a regular room. I was at work trying to work when they took me to emergency room and admitted me. My sugar was 620. I'm trying to find out all I can about ketoacidosis because I was not a diabetic prior to this hospitalization. I am 40 years old and female.
ОтветитьI'm here because I've been struggling with ketones since I've been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. I've been managing everything that enters my mouth, food to the gram and 2.7QT of water per day, and I have not had 250+ or 70- for 5 days. I'm also on a pump so there should never be a lack of insulin. Yet I'm STILL getting ketones in the higher range (high according to my test strips but not to the point of DKA). No starvation, no dehydration, no lack of insulin, no hyperglycemia, no infection, so why? Could anyone please help me with a POSSIBLE explanation? Thanks!
ОтветитьThank you sir for explaining very well...🙏🏻
ОтветитьI can’t stop throwing up bruh
ОтветитьGood explanation but you have 2 Mistakes:
1-We do NOT do ABG regularly because it’s very painful and mor importantly it can lead to artery constriction and ischemia !.
2- We give insulin to stop ketone body formation we aren’t very concerned in decreasing blood sugar level in emergency sitting.
Thanks for your efforts.
Just got out of the ER from DKA. Scary stuff
