I have spot some of them on my orokin vault runs (I think) but never took too much interest and I'm planning on getting khora so would getting kavat genetic code from orokin vault runs be more efficient than doing the standard Deimos missions (plus I love my orokin vault runs considering I use either Octavia or Excalibur umbra)

Are this one the steel path? Because on the ordinary direlict mission they hardly drop gen code

Also, don't bring a companion that could attack and kill the Kavat before you even get a chance to scan it. I learned it the hard way.🤣🤣

i remember spending over an hour running void derelicts back in the day just to get 2-3 codes when kavats initially came out, this is a breeze by comparison

I picked up at least 10 genetic codes. I'm not sure what I need to do next :( when I try to breed it says i've got no imprints avalible.

Would using helios on them work?

Just tried, scanned 7 kavats in a single mission and didnt get any genetic code, rigged

Do the kavats in open worlds count? I was able to find over 60+ vampire kavats in one 30 minute session on the Plains and got a LOT of kavat tokens.

I will say I don’t have the double scan widget, but after 5 missions, over 15 kavats scanned, maybe more, I got 1. This game genuinely wants me to go off myself I swear to god

by the way.. why didn't you sagest Loki as a warframe to do this farming? you don't hold them still but you don't get attacked and can scan away or if you have the scanmer just bop them as you run through

Just want to correct some misinformation in this video. He is completely wrong when he says Helios won't scan the Kavats and that you have to scan them yourself. That is 100% inaccurate. As long as you have scanners equipped Helios will scan them and is the most effective way to get the genetic codes.

*IMPORTANT* You will only have a 50/50 chance to get a Smeeta Kavat when doing a random kavat incubation!

Volt increases scanning speed

U can also hop on steal Path to increase the drop chance to 50%..

A drop booster and blessing should get you to 125% drop chance..

Either this is wrong or it’s bad ring I’ve scanned over 10 Kavats and not one of them gave me it.

Does it have to be invisible

I've gotten so many but I always get the same avada kavat I probably missed spelled them but I'm done farming it I can't I've done 3 times
