Ответить"Our journey brings us all the way to Africa, previously home to the Mayans..."
Honestly, it was very hard to keep on watching after such a monumental slip.
I don't wanna be a hater; but if you're making a documentary about chocolate, I believe spending a few extra seconds on Google to see where Mayans were from and where chocolate originally comes from is very important.
1. Mayans, like the chocolate tree, comes from America. Specifically the center, on the Yucatán Peninsula.
2. Mayans weren't the first to discover the secrets of the cacao tree. Those were the Olmecs, thousands of years before the Mayans.
3. It was brought to Africa by the colonial powers much later on. But by then, the Mayans were long extinct.
African Mayans???
