Ответить😒😒Why this video doesn't have english subtitles ?😒😒
ОтветитьThese are the real issues we can’t see any progress or solutions yet. all these innocent people are suffering and working like slaves, even these mothers , wife’s talk about their husbands they drinking and all, if you talk with them ( husbands) you will realize they also very down to earth ppl. Because I got a chance to work with these ppl 2001 and still some ppl call me and wish us for new year and all, they remeber us,,many of these Tamil ppl are very honest and if we educate them and treat them as equal as others they will honestly work as much as they can fullest. I had one employee worked for me 2005 and when he come Colombo first time he has nothing but, drinking , smoking , doing all these wasted things as they explained , but now he has a three wheeler, lorry & as well as and he started his own business , married and have a one little baby girl also n living very successful family life, we can do things for a certain level but as a county government should take care of these ppl and must have national plan for these issues & poverty, it’s very Sad when they talk, they don’t have phones , WiFi, for online education, electricity, water issues , also here they were not talking about sanitary issues and all but we know ppl are suffering,,government should address all these issues ASAP without doing these media drams. ,we do what we can, & thanks for visit them and talk.
ОтветитьIt's really sad to hear what they are going through. The government, people and organisations should really come together to support these families. They do not deserve this.
ОтветитьVery candid. Excellent
ОтветитьGreat episode Shanuki!
A first hand expose`, of what our "celebrated women of the hills" truly face and encounter in their daily lives.
GBV, teenage pregnancy, underage sexual abuse, underage marriages, alcoholic husbands, inequality in pay, etc., you name it, it's there.
Thank you for airing their story so clearly and effectively, I hope it gets heard in the right places.
Salute to you and your team.
Thanks for making these videos
