I think the miui 9 ROM which u r using is not the stable version.Its have so much lags while u r opening the apps.The official MIUI 9 is 10 times more faster than MIUI 8.

I am using redmi note 4 ,2gb ram varient and the ressurection remix is legging when I open some Heavy app or install more app on on my phone . approx 10 apps .
