Creality has lowered the price of the Pro after this video was produced. It’s now $229.00 so the difference is only $50.
ОтветитьThis was a solid video, gave the differences, was honest with your opinion, and helped me with not wasting the additional 100 for the pro.
ОтветитьNo it's not. But Ender 3 V2 instead
ОтветитьWell I'm sending mine back now.
ОтветитьI bought the pro a few years ago. I just bought the stock one today as my second printer
Ответитьthank you. you helped me make my decision on which one to buy!
ОтветитьExcellent video tutorials and very informative. Thanks for sharing your video. Watching here with full support from Canada 🇨🇦
ОтветитьGreat video.
do they have USB port on it ? so i can run it with a raspberri PI
Fast forward to 2022, microcenter is running $100 off ender 3 pros pretty often, the current one is for new customers and ends June 26th.
ОтветитьJust picked up the pro from micro center for 99.00 after using the 100 off coupon. Guess I'm used to bigger printers. Even my basic cr10's are giants compared to this wee fellow
ОтветитьMicrocenter is giving out coupons if you sign up for their txt alerts. With the coupon I ran out and got an Ender Pro for $108 today. 😅🥳🤖
ОтветитьThree years later and you can buy an ender 3 pro for $99 on sale.
ОтветитьJust picked up an Ender 3 Pro at Micro Center for $99 with an online coupon they have. Glad I found this channel to learn how to tweak it now!
ОтветитьI like your videos ❤ Your videos are very helpful. Thanks for your help.
ОтветитьZombie thread but how about $100 from Microcenter. Get the Coupon
ОтветитьI got a pro, cheaper from micro center. New 4842 E motor, Capricorn, 2 glass beds, duct fans, e3 board, no bl touch.
Ответитьthe 85 degrees issue is concerning
ОтветитьGonna ask an awkward 3d-prining question that has no real answer:
How many rolls of filament is the cost difference between a 'basic' and 'Cadillac' printer worth?
Your Filament Library is gonna cost MANY times more than your printer(s), and filament costs don't go away.
In fact, if your printer is top-notch, you are gonna buy MORE filament and get more work done!
Don't be a stingy Boss!
Saving a few bucks on your printer is like a stingy Boss saying "Work more hours!" instead of paying a living wage!
Be a good Boss, get a better printer!
Thank you, great info for beginner
ОтветитьTy for the insight
ОтветитьI paid $180 for the pro.
ОтветитьBoth units are on sale this week for Mothers Day - obviously what my mom would want haha. Thanks for the comparo! I splurged on the Pro
ОтветитьI just got one for less than the original. How could I fix the buildplate? I have a spare glass that I could use.
Ответитьwhen they start with the silly differences, you d know they're telling you buy the pro!
ОтветитьYes! I just order an Ender 3 Pro with a glass bed and all metal extruder kit! Can anyone tell me where and what filament is good to buy and where the best prices online? Thx
ОтветитьShould I get the Ender 3 over the Ender 3 Pro and just use the savings to buy filament and a better nozzle tip?
ОтветитьSeeing this Video 2 years later, the Ender 3 Classic is now about $180-$200, depending on discount, while the Ender 3 Pro is now at a reduced price of $240, the two prices meeting in the middle.
Since it's my first-ever Printer, I definitely shelled out the extra money for Pro, to have the best possible features without Modifying it.
Only time will tell if it's worth it for me.
Here it is two years later, and the price of the Ender-3 Pro is now $194.99.
ОтветитьI just bought the Ender 5 Pro.
ОтветитьJust picked up the Pro along with Micro Swiss direct drive and hot end all for $200!
ОтветитьIncase anyone sees this comment in the next couple days bc of black friday stuff, the ender 3 pro is only $6 more than the regular ender 3 right now on amazon. Buying the upgraded power supply on it's own is still $30. so atm it's a no brainer to get the pro.
ОтветитьSo although you get an estimated $120 in value with the pro, you still say that the original 3 is better?
Ответить3 pro is more silent than 3
ОтветитьGood to know thanks I was in a conundrum
ОтветитьIdk why but in taobao, I see exactly same price for original one and pro....
ОтветитьI just bought a Ender 3 Pro 2 days ago for $189 new.
ОтветитьIronically the Ender 3 Pro is quite often cheaper than the Ender 3 v2 in several online stores at present. Have a set of hardware upgrades to apply to my Ender 3 Pro that I'll apply a bit at a time as I get used to the kit.
ОтветитьI love my pro model and got mine is 2020 for under 200$. I don't have any issues with the magnetic bed. Of course since this was made in 2018, had I looked to buy a printer in 2018, I would have NOT paid 100$ extra but, as it stands today, its worth 200$ in humble opinion. This is the best 3D printer channel around. I've learned more here and the info is really good stuff that newbies like me need to know. Thanks CHEP!
ОтветитьYeah, uh... the price difference is roughly $20-something now. Also, the CR-10 MINI in a whole $100 more than both
ОтветитьI print at 90 and it has been working fine
ОтветитьI saw a video where the kid said he printed flexible materials out of the box... can the ender 3 not actually do it or did your mod make it better? We just ordered one for my son and im excited to give it a go myself. Ill be doing the upgrades i think before he gets it.
ОтветитьHow does the Ender 3 V2, stack up to Ender Pro? Which one?
ОтветитьI’m planning on getting the ender 3 within a month. Anyone know if the amazonbasics pla filament is any good?
ОтветитьI'm currently doing about 1000 chores a day so I can get the ender 3 by the end of the month.
ОтветитьThank you very much it helped me ....!
ОтветитьHi! the pro can print flexible materials out of the box?
ОтветитьThanks. Decided to go with the latest iteration of the standard Ender 3. For the money saved I'llupgrade it with a 32-bit controller, enabling lots of features in the process.
Even with this upgrade included in the price, it's still cheaper than the Pro.
Some of the problems the first Ender 3 had has been mitigated in the latest iterations of it as of 2020, making the Pro even less desirable.
About the PSU on the Ender 3. It's not a well-known brand, but I see no issues with it. Tested it under load with my oscilloscope and there's barely any ripple on it. As good as many known brands.
It also holds up full load without overheating for long periods of time. But only time will tell if this will hold up after some period of usage. Sooo...
Weird thing, I have the same tea.
ОтветитьThanks. You just saved that extra i was going to pay
ОтветитьAm about to get the ender 3 its 240 on Amazon where can I get it for a lower price
Ответить
