ОтветитьHello Lucy, please try to guide n help me.....
I am a btech graduate (2023 batch), currently I am learning n improving my skill on Java n SQL, but recently I am interested to learn cloud technology, so plz suggest me the course of AWS which will help me learn everything from basics n will help me to get a job also.
Plz try to rply
Can I directly learn AWS Solutions architect ????
Ответитьhi, i'm B-Arch graduate can i pursue my carrier in cloud?
ОтветитьWhen I am attempting AWS certification, there is no Cloud Practitioner Exam. So i went direct to the associates, there is no such considerations.
ОтветитьWhat do you think about aws restart? And also what do you think about non IT background looking for a change career into cloud?
ОтветитьIs there a book or course that one should take before? Just to know what you're getting yourself into.
ОтветитьHello Lycy, thanks so much for the content. I really enjoyed watching your videos and all the info you provided. I have a quick question, Would be great to hear from you, I'm a graduate student with a computer science degree, I've done my CCP 1 exam and have been certified, I'm now doing my Solutions architect certification. I wanna apply for Junior solutions architect roles like you have. With this recession and economic situation, are the companies/aws really hiring entry-level solutions architects with no experience?
ОтветитьA lot of people underestimate the real power of having fundamental knowledge. AWS CCP is usually taught at the most fundamental level, with examples and illustrations even non-technical people can relate with. That alone gives people the drive and energy to keep going. Fundamental knowledge is really helpful. If you can get the CCP, get it. It also sort of gives you a lot to talk about at interviews particularly for entry level cloud roles, especially if you have a non-technical background..... I dont know wh anyone will say dont do it, it cost few bucks and u can scale it preparing in just 1 month
ОтветитьGreat content! What's the logical next step after completing the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification for those looking to delve deeper into AWS?
ОтветитьShould I follow "6-Hour Cloud Practitioner Essentials Course" or "Andrew Brown AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Certification Course +13 hours" to get started from scratch with AWS Cloud Services?
ОтветитьWhat is Cloud developer then?
ОтветитьThe problem for example in latam is that $100 is much money for the people in latam. 😖
ОтветитьBrand new to Cloud? - Yes!
Have experience in Cloud w/no certs? - No. Skip to a harder one, unless your job requires it.
Thank you I'm a beginner, beginner 😆
ОтветитьAs an IT profession but am new to cloud, I am unsure should I direct go with Cloud Architect or start first with Cloud Practitioner, and your video gives me clear picture on go first with cloud practitioner and pass the certificate and gain confidance in cloud journey...Thanks Lucy for helping me to clear my doubts I had on Cloud practitioner cert.
ОтветитьTL;DR Taking both CCP and SAA would be 175$, NOT 250$
Great breakdown, thank you! but I do have to point out that the 250$ cost for getting CCP and SAA is wrong. If you pass CCP, the next cert exam (ANY of them) you take is 50% off, which would make getting SAA 75$, so in total, getting both certs would be 175$ (100+75). If your main concern is money, skipping the CCP exam and going straight to SAA only saves you 25$ (175& vs 150$). That being said, there are other factors to consider such as time and effort etc so ultimately it depends on your needs. For those prepping for the certs, good luck!
Thank you Lucy! I am a non-tech professional and want to pivot into the Cloud industry. This vid was very helpful. 😀
ОтветитьI definitely recommend doing the AWS CP exam first. I just took the AWS SA exam and failed, but I’ll need to see what questions I got wrong to better prepare for both exams and eventually prepare for the AWS Certified Cloud Professional exam. I’m usually someone who preaches fundamentals is 🔑 to anything you do. At that point when I took the exam, I figured I had enough foundational knowledge to answer those situational questions in the AWS SA exam. The reason being is because I’ve been applying my learnings from just going into the console and playing with things for my startup before I even got into an AWS CP course through my college and decided to take the AWS SA on my own volition. It didn’t hurt to take it, though. I have two weeks before I can take it again.
Ответитьi am very thankful for your video it really saved me a lot of time . now i will be trying for Cloud Practitioner Certification
ОтветитьGreat video.
ОтветитьHello Lucy,
Thank you for the great & motivational content!
I am taking the AWS Solutions Architect Associate exam in a month & am studying with A Cloud Guru.
Where do you recommend I look to purchase more practice exams? Does Udemy have anything?
Thank you & apologies if you answered this somewhere else!
Wow this was really informative
ОтветитьIt's really worth it!!
Ответитьplease share the sound effect that u used ?
ОтветитьAWS Cloud Practitioner very tough ?
ОтветитьHi Lucy, 1st thanks for taking the time to do this! For me, I'm skipping the Cloud Practitioner Cert. I gained a Learning Badge for Practitioner & Essentials; these have been enough for my goals. I'm now studying for the Solutions Architect Cert. Yes, I'm skipping the Associates Cert too. ☺ Since there are no perquisites, taking these other Certs doesn't seem either Cost or Time effective. This path will actually have the level of impact I'm looking for within my skillset. Having those other Certs will not change my current status. I'll let you know how it works out 😎
ОтветитьHi I am a new subscriber my question is does AWS was required for CCNA knowledge? networking is important to learn AWS please ans me
ОтветитьThanks for this video. I can confirm that as a developer, Cloud Practitioner boosted my productivity and understanding of AWS.
ОтветитьI am currently learning through the AWS skill builder I will try your recommendation courses later but I want to ask is there any technical/practical way to learn these AWS software and services? I'm more of a on hands learner
ОтветитьYour videos have been very helpful to me thank you, I have 10 years of experience in word press and am looking to use Amazon to create personal websites, can you suggest courses for personal use?
ОтветитьThank you for your help. Just Passed aws practioner certification.
ОтветитьHi lucy,
I've decide to shift into AWS from my present non-technical job..
and starting with cloud practitioner certificarion preparation..
where should i study from: I have shortlisted two different courses:
1. "Cloud Essentials - Knowledge Badge Readiness Path" on AWS skill builder, Duration: 11h 35m
2. "AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials" on coursera, Approx. 18 hours to complete
3 weeks at 6 hours a week
this is a paid certification course but financial aid available..
or are there any other courses you would recommend..(free courses)?
So I failed my Solutions Architect the first time, found your videos and used turtorials dojo 15 practice exam. Most authentic questions and explanations for the SAA C03 imo.
ОтветитьHello @techWithLucy Is it the correct time to pass Cloud practitioner certification as they are updating the exam objective?. Do we need to wait till September end?
ОтветитьHey Lucy what pathway would you recommend for AI aligned with cloud?
ОтветитьJust got my cpp and saa
ОтветитьI am working at a Helpdesk IT for almost 2 years . I want to enter into cloud so i am preparing for cloud practioner and then i will for solution architect. I do not have any degree and just have a 2 years networking Diploma .
I was thinking to get Comptia network plus first and then AWS CP and then solution architect. The reason I wanted to get network plus because it is a plus point if i am applying for wethere aws or something else
And second if i am not able to find aws then atleast i can find something better than now because as i see less cloud job these days .
If i want to move to cloud should go for these 3 certifications or just cloud practioner and solution architect?
Thanks, but this is overly optimistic in terms of time. For Associate Developer it's hundreds of hours, no way you can do it in a couple of weeks, especially if you want to know how to deploy anything even remotely realistic (deploying empty simple schemas is not good neither for exam nor for real life), and even after that you won't be an expert. So if you didn't already worked with AWS in a real company, for at least half a year or more I do not recommend trying to pass the more advanced certifications. Cloud Practitioner should be enough for you and I think it will take like 2,3 times more to do it (maybe less if you already know what's up with cloud services). :)
On the other hand, its extremely useful to have that certification when looking for a job as devops, developer or some kind of cloud programmer or admin.
@TechwithLucy I have two years of aws data engineer experience and overall 12 years
which certification is recommended for me do I need to do CCP or any other
Could you please guide me there are different certifications available for AWS bit confused.
Do you have to register with Amazon before booking for the CLF-O1.? I tried to register but had problems with filling out the settings.
ОтветитьFor tech workers: the Cloud Practitioner cert is worth it if most of your work’s in a different cloud, and you want a basic overview of AWS. If you primarily work (or want to work) with AWS’ technologies, you 100% should start with ‘Architect - Associate’.
For non-tech roles, yes, you should get the Cloud Practitioner cert if your company uses AWS, or if you want to be slightly more marketable while job hunting.
It's Fundamental to take the Cloud Practitioner Exam.
When you prepare for it, and pass the exam your moral goes up, and you feel confident about your AWS journey.
It's like a booster to get started.
hey Lucy, I was planning to take aws saa exam and wanted to know if there is lab work in exam or not
ОтветитьFor those looking to get this certification Amazon is having a free training event called AWSome Day on August 23rd. They are offering a 50% off Cloud Practitioner voucher and 5 free labs for attendees.
ОтветитьThank you ❤
ОтветитьPretty easy test that teaches you basic AWS services, definitely get it if u can
ОтветитьWhat is your opinion on using chatGPT to generate exam practice questions?
