Wonder if Black Flags will do the 2011 season (Stewart over Edwards)🤔. The only chase season that a driver needed to Win in Miami prior to the current playoffs format.

No matter the points system or car, you just simply couldn't put a stop to Jimmie Johnson in the 2000s.

1st, 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, 9th killed the rest of the comp the last 6 races. He could’ve won Dega and if fuel wasn’t an issue at Kansas, won their too. Jimmie was on a different level that playoffs and he then showed everyone from 2007 to 2010 why.

Pretty interesting that even in open wheel formula one points the GOAT still got it done. I kinda like these videos because it’s fun to think what could have been, but we also gotta remember that the drivers would have had different mentalities with different systems and many fans don’t seem to realize that when they say things like “Gordon would’ve been a seven time champ” and “Jimmie would’ve been a four time” Tony might have been a 6 time champion under some formats as well, but they didn’t race those formats for those seasons and they raced how they thought they had to given their circumstances.

I did this season under my own points format and it was one of the closest battles ever. I had Matt Kenseth beating Jimmie Johnson by a mere 8 points!

You should do this for every season since 2000. I like the F1 points. It’s all based on consistency. You don’t have to win every week but you need to up in the top 10 almost every week, and preferably in the top 5 to have a good points day.

Darian you should definitely make videos on F1 and or IndyCar seasons with NASCAR Cup Series points
