Just ran into this issue today and this still applies. You MIGHT have to clear all of them related to Office in the title as well so just a heads up to anyone coming across this issue nowadays like I did. Also, Don't forget to reboot after clearing these. Call it a "duh!" moment but thanks for posting this!

This did the trick for me with MFA, I didn't have any teams entries so I removed all the Office and SSO entries.

I tried every single thing, nothing worked. Then I tried to log in to word with my microsoft account and then suddenly once I logged in to word the problem from teams dissapeared and it allowed me to login with the same account...

If you are getting a credential loop in your browser, make sure your time zone is correct and your date and time are correct, that was my issue

I create my account on Microsoft Teams but I am stuck in a different loop. It says I am not on Teams yet but I can sign up for it. When i click on sign up, it redirects me to new tab on which it prompts me to sign in to Microsoft Teams and note that I am already logged in to Microsoft account. When I click on Sign in, it redirects me to new tab which is again the same "You're not on teams yet. Sign up for teams". This is the most stupid sign-in problem that I came across with Microsoft.

The best way to fix it is to uninstall

The downside is you need admin access. In my office, IT won't use this method either. Not sure why and get the stick eye when I ask!

if it does not work even after doing the above steps which was my case the next step is to check your authentication manager. sign out, sign in again with a different account even some junk email name for it to say wrong password and to fail once. then do your original credentials login which will make go thru your credential authenticator(MFA in my case) and it logged in fine.

These solutions did not fix the issue for me. What I had to do was right-click on the icon and click sign out. When the login page appeared I entered the wrong email address. This brought me to a separate login page where I could enter the correct email address and the password. This allowed Teams to login.

I had to log off from MS Word account, and then I was able to login again to MS Teams with new password.

even after doing all this, I was stuck up in infinite loop. I think there were some security concerns in my phone that were not allowing me to open teams on laptop. For a while, in my phone, I was getting alert to change login pattern. After updating that, teams started working for me on laptop.

When you get to the "We need you to Sign-In!.." Screen, go to your icon and right click > Sign Off. That will take you out of the loop and get you to the Real log in screen.

I had to do one more thing to get Teams to launch. My previous session was opened to an Excel spreadsheet stored on Sharepoint. I deleted all the credentials referencing 'teams' but the problem persisted. I deleted some other credentials that I thought were associated with the excel sheet on sharepoint. When I did that, Teams opened.

Following your instructions worked for me as well. The "short-cut" described in one of the comments with right clicking and sign out didn't work for me.

Is there anything else to do after deleting them all in Credential Manager? I tried this, it didn't work for me, still getting the same loop.
