But the comments are wack, especially if you sort by 'New' rather than 'Top Comments.' XD

Aprendi mucho
I’m here because I only had one question about how Portugal and Spain are two separate countries. Now I’ve caught a glimpse of the Spanish History, I’m hooked! It’s so fascinating how Spain changed reflecting the changes in the whole world
ОтветитьThe story of the Battle of Poitiers and Charles Martel were pure fantasies, with absolutely no archaeological, nor any serious historical evidence, the same goes for the famous "la Chanson de Roland" which was written some 4 centuries after the glorified Battle of Roncesvalles was supposed to have taken place.
This is exactly when the Western Europeans started falsifying history to fit their romanticised and glorified past to affirm their obsessive supposed superiority, which is built on myths and lies that continue to be believed as historic facts until today.
"The Moroccans never returned to the Iberian peninsula"... unless you count the seasonal army of harvest laborers 😂
ОтветитьPoor Spanian 7 century Arab rules :😢

Ответитьrats! they were lucky that The British were at war with the French.
ОтветитьWhile studying History in school, I was always so grateful to have been born in a country only a few centuries old!
ОтветитьThis is the half of Mexican culture history, even when the trend is to reject it... I don't want to offend anybody, and I recognize that the colonial process was traumatizing, but, let's embrace the truth. Both, the native american and the european cultures are truly our legacy...
ОтветитьVery good video. Pet peeve of mine: I'm fighting windmills here; but, I'm trying to teach every American that "vámonos" and "vamos" are not interchangeable words. "Vámonos" is used in situations where you want to say: "let's leave / go away from here". While "vamos" means "let's go". The emphasis is in the destination, not in the need to leave.
If in doubt, opt for "vamos." I'm aware Speedy Gonzalez used to say "vámomos" and I assume this popularized the expression. But, cute mice don't always speak well. Coincidentally, "ándale" is also incorrect. You might want to opt for "anda".
Spain was not the first global empire, Portugal was.
ОтветитьIam Spanish American and is proud of my Spanish history
ОтветитьHistory of Spain ❤❤
ОтветитьSi - whole world history is based on the war

ОтветитьI can't believe it's not butter!
ОтветитьAfter the efforts of the Arab rulers who controlled the countries of Spain and became Andalusia, it was in vain
ОтветитьThis is like an amazing chain reaction through people until it's bursts into a nation. And down to the smallest interaction of differing peoples a nation is decided upon it blows my mind that from that here we all sit.
ОтветитьSad this doesn’t have subtitles! Also why doesn’t this have subtitles :/
ОтветитьThe Spanish came to Japan in the 1500s. They were there to colonize Japan, but at the time Japan had the ability to manufacture its own guns, which came from Portugal.
At that time, Japan had the largest number of guns in the world.
Spain was terrified of Japan and gave up its colonization of Japan.
So hard to find things about my Iberian blood line so thanks a lot
ОтветитьAl-Andalus will never be forgotten.

ОтветитьSpain is so more beautiful and rich than Portugal(I'm Portuguese)
ОтветитьAs a king 🤴 of foreign land ..."back in the day" say 300 AD ...you would salivate over taking hold of Spain's territory. For many reasons ie, geographical position ...an aside: I was infatuated with a Spanish woman 👩 many years ago ...she was from Northern region of Spain 🇪🇸 we danced together ❤ at local disco ...she was very beautiful ...alas, had a boyfriend back home 🏡
ОтветитьI need to know... How many gorillas were there. I need answers
