She's right with the term Latinx or Latino because the "Latin" are languages and origin that are Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, and Romanian. However, most of the Latin American roots are African.

I'm tired of 1st generation Hispanics and Hispanic immigrants distorting the narrative of Americans of Hispanic descent. Hispanics have been in parts of the US longer than the US has been around. At this point most, again I say MOST Hispanics are multi generational Americans. We don't need some immigrants from Guatemala or Honduras speaking on our behalf because all that does is perpetuate a stereotype that Hispanics are nothing but speaking with accent sounding English immigrant non Americans.
