Anything wrapped like the garlic picanha or the bacon wrapped filet mignon is very tough. It’s better to stick to the other beef cuts.

I’ve seen rockstar eater eat at these type of places, but they usually have a more robust bar with more than just salad. Most of them have a cream corn that seems to be a special part.

The last time I went to a Texas de Brazil in Miami (2019), I was not impressed. Cuts of meat weren’t that good and the salad bar/carbs differ offer much variety. I think these restaurants are too big and they need to turn over tables quickly so that may contribute to lower food quality.

I've never been satisfied with Brazilian barbecue/ Generally a bit tough and dry. Noisy room, as well. Frenetic.

If the ribeye is tough, it is probably not prime grade. You won't get all the ribeye you can eat for $50 unless it is low quality.

Says they aren't bringing any more meat towards the end but it looks like his marker is flipped to the red to not be served any more meat. Maybe I'm wrong just a thought though.

We have this place in Vegas and your right you have to ask for thin cuts. Also they have chimichuri and another sauce that makes up for the lack of salt.

we have a place like that near me called boi na braza and the food is so-so. The price is the same at $65 but goes half off during restaurant week. They have great margaritas though!

Joel I am in Thibodaux, Louisiana and I can honestly say from experience there is no better food than the south has to offer. This was in Buffalo, New York. The food is bland up there. They have no clue what awesome food tastes like until they come down south. I just gotta just tell it like it is. You still did a great job! Too bad they didn't have ketchup lol. My fave cut of steak is a tie between the ny strip and ribeye depending on my mood... definitely prepared at a high temp seared outside crust (pittsburgh style) with a medium center.... crispy AND juicy!

We have a Texas de Brazil where I live and I had a similar experience with food quality and flavor. There were certain preparations that were pretty good like the beef rib and chicken, but most of the steaks and other beef dishes were lacking flavor and seasoning.
