Okay- kool story, but Ed would say or ask if it's for a movie or a series or just a animation story...
For me, I could pick out a story from this concept and play with it- in fact the idea of sareena, subzero undercover love interest has been sitting idle for a time...
Such a story I would use the inspiration of "House of Flying daggers, as the tempo and the sort of genre.
Subzero has to basically bring her back to find the hidden location of Quan chi on orders of Oniro... finding Quan chi layer, helps to get a priceless item that they will use to try and rescue dark raiden and return him back to his true self. Now though the lin kieu is hidden, initially sareena was contracted by Quan chi to infiltrated the town nearby posing as a vendor to get information on the clan since they had sided with the forces of light. her mission was simple: to gain info, kill the grandmaster oniro- she attempted this but failed. but instead of killing her they sent sub as a escort to find her masters lair in a effort to have a edge in the battle and to get the item that can help raiden.
In the end he had to save her countless times on the journey including battles against (scorpion).(Smoke)(sektor)
Smoke who initially thought was good, was her contact in the city and thus in the end subzero had to face off against a man who they trained together...
In the end, we see Oniro in slow motion throwing water in the direction of a new young but powerful trainee ninja (he is a bit blurred out) in a room with the full moon alone as light... watched closely by tremor. This kid is Kuai

Is Shujinko the replacement for Liu Kang? Also can Taven and Daegon be in the story?
