In my Barbie world other collectors have referred to knock off dolls as clones. I have a few and I love them because they are part of Barbie and Fashion doll history.

I’ve been collecting for 30 years and you inspire me! Maybe I’ll try and do a few videos on some of my Fashion doll clones. One I have that is interesting to me is a very cheaply made Stacie clone, but she’s bald, and packaged as a Fashion Queen with wigs. I’ve also got a My Scene clone and a 70s TNT Barbie face mould, talking side ponytail type hairdo with a filmy swimsuit outfit with really, really cheaply made body with mod design box. I think they’re fun!

dude i was such a prissy kid </3 my parents never bought me any knockoff dolls because they KNEW i would know it was a knockoff and i wouldn't play with it. i remember passing the dolls at dollar tree when i was like 7 and making SURE my mom knew i wouldn't play with them😭

i can think of only two i've ever had, and i didn't play with either of them. one of them was just a head and torso for my barbie cake for my 7th birthday, the other was a knockoff of the original 1959 barbie i recently bought for fun at an estate sale. she was $1.

I've never bought anything from eBay. I don't think I would want to. I can't believe those dolls have really skinny legs. Out of all my tons of Barbies I think I might have some with stick legs. They were bought for .79 cents to 99cents and just for the clothes and shoes. Kids put actual Barbie clothes on these things. At least you got a good stand for a Barbie! The OMO is cute but I wouldn't buy her. I'm sorry you got gipped like that. And the clothes, I can't stand those paper dresses and clothes. There are a few I thought was very cute so I put them in my Barbie clothes. Thanks for sharing.

I got some weird dolls like these (but they‘re meant to look like Barbie) from the funfair (or how the english word is called) and they‘re also awful… I‘ve got one in a silver outfit with bald parts on her head, I‘ve got a small princess with horse and horse carriage, one with rose hair and around 6 outfits (but there‘s one from real fabric and not „paperish“ in there) and one that I didn‘t even open. I still have her in box somewhere for years… probably I‘ll try to sell her for 1€ some day (but I will definetely be honest in the product description that she is fake). And they‘re (mostly) disgusting… 🤢🤮 I never had much fun with them. The ones that I‘ve already opened… I think I‘ll throw them away except some good pieces. They‘re probably toxic and nobody would buy these.
