I want to jump higher. This means my program will be composed of squatting, and to a lesser degree deadlifting. The only problem is I don't know how much to do? 5 sets of 5 can't possibly be just enough. Would 5 sets of 5 of 2 different leg exercises be a good amount?

Hey man what's up, can you do a video on how to cure patellar tendonitis? I have sharp stabbing pain in my left knee that I've been enduring for a few months now and I'm really starting to panic. stopped squatting regularly due to it too. I'd like to know how you deal with this, if you ever had it of course

Like most things, lifting sucks when we get overly dogmatic about things. Variety is the spice of life unless something such as competition requires specificty. Not going to lie, once you moved to starting strength I jumped off the channel. Caught this one in my feed. Watched and I'm back.

Yup like most sheep.... the way he squats will eventually and invetitably fuck up his knees... just a matter of time. Way to slowly hinge your knee apart for no reason.

@Alan Thrall Use the cuffs to hold your plates in place. I'm missing the end of my left finger because I put a cuff on that was the wrong size (too big), the plates slid off when I put the barbell back and it swung in an arc taking the end of my finger clean off.

It seems counter intuitive that you're teaching people good form when lifting but you're not maximizing your own safety. Honestly, I think it's safer to do squats with poor form than it is to do squats with good form without the cuffs in place. You might have sore muscles with poor form but you're not at risk of having your back thrown out of alignment if the plates slide off mid-lift or losing a finger if they slide off post-lift.
