To all the dads out their that STILL step up and take care of their kids . THANK YOU 🙏 I’m raising my two children alone . My son is almost 13 and daughter is about to be 11 and when their dad walked away almost 8 years ago . He’s barely looked back. My dad has had to step up and take my daughter to things like the daddy daughter dances and he helps my son with fixing his dirt bike . This song just makes me cry so much because I know how bad my kids want a dads love so much . But everyone’s and everything comes before them . He even had another son with another woman and is raising that one even though they aren’t together. I just don’t understand 😭 but I will continue to be there for them no matter what; praying for them ; cheering them on ; cuddling them . Being everything I can ❤️💕

Mom and dad divorced when I was in 2nd grade. Me and my 2 younger siblings lived w mom and seen dad every other weekend. That love triangle is all I remember from my childhood.

I've loved this song since it came out... right after my parents separated. It took me until about two years ago to understand it. Still a great song that hits so close to home.❤

My babies deserved more than a life like this. Me and my wife swore that we'd never put ourselves, our babies through this.
Some people just ain't cut out for marriage tho, too busy living in the past to move forward with their lives. Me, I'd do anything to keep my family together! You can't hold it all together by yourself tho.

I was so proud of self for trying make work with her dad but Accepting Not healthy together and better to have to "happy" Homes then force it to work and Hurt child later on. I always try to foster his relationship with our daughter And let her have her dad. I forgave and forgot all the hurt I experienced but as her mom I I will never forgive him for the hurt He has caused my little girl. We swore to do better for her than we had. I've given the chances For him, do better by her. But Im done seeing my baby girl hurt the same way I did. He can call me bitter but I will always protect my baby girl
