MS is just unrespectful. They could turn off all support of IE. That is up to them. But why forcing us to use Edge? That should be up to us.

This no longer works. I have been using it for a long time, and after the last recent Windows 10 updates in October (this month), it does not work. If you launch internet explorer from C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe and you see the taskmanager you can see opens edge:

My ie still would not open. I had to go back and uninstall the 12 October updates. Dam I hate Windows, worst operating system ever. I use linux exclusively, but unfortunately I need ie for my home security system. Windows makes life so hard for those that need to keep using ie. I have now disabled all windows updates permanently.
