It was the perfect vacation! We went the road to Hana using the guide you suggested and it was perfect! Everyone got to see and experience The Road to Hana without driving! Question: I am staying in Wailuku instead of at the beach - are the beaches adjacent to the resorts accessible to non-resort guests? I know there are some beaches in Florida, for example, that are closed off to the public. Thanks again! Also, has anyone ever told you that you look eerily similar to French actress Noémie Merlant? For a second, I thought she had given up making movies and moved to Hawaii to make travel blogs!

My wife, Ashley and I reside from East Tennessee, we are currently enjoying the NCL and we will be at Wailea Beach tomorrow, we thank you guys for your helpful tips through your channel I have been checking out for the last few weeks, it's helped out alot in advance for this fantastic trip.

I very much want to go to Hawaii.. Specifically Maui and Kauai. That being said lately I've really been thinking about the shark situation in the waters. I realize attacks are most likely few and far between, but I know they do happen. It's an odd question to ask but wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this. I've looked up things like avoiding swimming at Dusk and Dawn and try not to swim alone.

Great video, for Haleakala, you said a permit was required for sunset, and then a little bit later you said it was required for sunrise. Which is it?

We have an opportunity to go to Hawaii for the first time in Jan 2024, flying from LAX, we have no clue where to stay or which part of Hawaii for our first and probably only trip. Can go for 7-10 days. Any suggestions?

We just got to Maui, stopped for papayas and Leona pies. Then Safeway and then took your advice and ate at a food truck in the Lahaina Cannery parking lot!

We like to do the reverse road to Hana. Any idea when the twin falls closes? I know we'll be getting there a little bit later than normal doing the reverse route and don't want to miss it this time like we did last time. Thanks!

Mahalo Jordan and Erica! The kids are so cute and the family has grown I see. My husband and I are coming back to Maui in August for his birthday along this time with some friends! We can't wait to be back. Our first visit was in Nov. 2019 for our 25th Wedding Anniversary! We are hooked! Haha! Since then, we went back in May of 2021 and November of 2022, and many more visits to come. Who knows...maybe one day we may move there...that would be amazing. Much Mahalo for the tips!

I was very hesitant to book a trip to Hawaii at first cause it seems like there are so many options that it's a bit overwhelming when you don't have a clue, but with your itinerary I feel like all the difficult part was taken care of and now it's only about relaxing and doing the activities we are aiming for! Our whole family loves your videos, we are very excited to finally visit this summer!

I had a question about transportation at Maui. In most of your videos you mention renting a car and finding parking spots or going with tours who take you to the locations, but is it feasible to just take Ubers or Taxis to all these places, or that's usually more expensive than renting a car?

We had a very difficult time finding parking when we went to west Maui to see the beaches. Out of pure frustration, I ended up turning around and going back to Kihei to sit by the pool.

100% recommend guided tour to Hana. this is one area to splurge-so worth it (especially the one with the helicopter) Our farm tour was also private but that's because family owns it :)

The guides are so good for planning because of the way they are done it's so easy to customize!
